Now we are safe... We are 10 points clear of trouble now effectively 11 due to goal difference with only 5 to play we are looking good to stay up, so what would we like to see between now and the end of the season.

    1. I would like us to finish strongly get as many points as we can.

    2. Think about next season, Woodrow should be given the last 5 games ahead of the departing Dembele in my opinion, LVC, Betts and Fredricks are also young players who could be regulars for years they all should start the last five games.

    3. Now I know Jokanovic will have his own players in mind but for me our squad is not bad and under achieving massively I have always felt the coach and tactics is the big issue hopefully we have found our man, but we do desperately need quality at left back, Holding midfielder and striker to replace Dembele... I know it doesn't sound ambitious but Lookman of Charlton and Clough of Bolton should both be seriously considered.

If Newcastle, Sunderland and Villa all come down its going to be a hell of a division next year

Would like to see a few more points on the board before becoming to excited, but looking to the future
a c/f to replace Dembele, and for me the priority is a goalkeeper and 2 full backs.

What now for next season? Two thoughts based on your view Cookie (correct in my mind) that Slavi will be thinking about his own players:

    1. After his performances in the last couple of weeks, sign one Slavi brought in on loan, Rohan Ince, permanently.

    2. Be optimistic from his post match comments, that Slavi will fight to keep rosc's favourite:

Today it was Emerson Hyndman's birthday so he has had a great present for himself and for all of us. He is probably one of our most talented players. I am a little bit disappointed in myself for not finding more minutes for him this year."

“I believe in front of him he has a brilliant future and he is a very talented player. He is quality on the ball. I believe in the future he can be a very important player for us
    .”

As the season draws to a close and presuming we are safe who would you fellow 606s
like to see use acquire in the close season.
Me : Goalkeeper Vorm or Marshall from Spurs and Cardiff
Fullback Cooke from Charlton Tarkowski from Burnley
    C/H Dunk " Brighton
    Forward Judge " Brentford
Presuming we loose Dembele but keep Ross Mc C C/F role between Smith & Woodrow

Despite a couple of dreadful seasons, the championship is such a close league and I still don't feel we are dreadful on paper and a few good signings with a coach who gets us organised it can be turned around quickly just look at Brighton and Birmingham from last season.

We are desperate for a quality Left Back, is Husband good enough? For me yes!
A defensive midfielder to play where Ince is now, not sure if Ince is the answer
A forward to replace Moussa somebody who will score goals immediately
    A dangerous wide player

Lookman, Clough and Wells should all be looked at for me

Knockeart, Husband, Ince and Gayle in is realistic and in my opinion would be four very god options in our positions of need.
We obviously have a lot to move on whether through our choice or theirs in a few instants Richards,Hutchinson,Garbutt,Baird,Kaca,Parker,Hyndman,Dembele could all be moved on for one reason or another.

I wouldn't mind Baird rejoining - it's important to have players that seem to embody the club's culture even if they don't play much. We have a lot of players who will be leaving this summer. Richards, Hutchinson, Kacaniklic, Parker, Smith, Dembele, Hyndman, Amorebieta, Bodurov, Pringle, Stekelenburg & Mitroglou are all gone in my opinion. So Baird could help us retain a little bit of identity.

Yes - I would keep Chris Baird. And we'll need a captain anyway.

We'd need to sign him as there would be no bugger left in the squad! :emoticon-0136-giggl
