Tbh, there's not much fight, heart etc in some of our players. We need a huge rebuilding job in the summer.

I'm just relieved we've hit 40 points already, although now we have to contend with these Yank bastards trying to buy our club

 

Perhaps the players read my post, filled their weak hearts with the inspirational quotes, girded their loins and slayed The Mighty Welsh Dragon(Swan)? I`m not claiming all the credit for this one, but......... And the tulips were lovely by the way, it was 28C today, luvverly.

 

Met up with Chippy before the game and at least this time I didn't have to go round the bar asking strangers if I'd arranged to meet them on the Internet. That being said it was still somewhat embarrassing to be standing beside someone (Chippy) asking a barmaid for a pint whilst stroking the pump!! Other than that it was good to meet up and discuss the prospect of a Not606 away day if the interest is there.

 

And our players must have read our posts this week and done the bloody opposite

True but my therapist has given me some exercises to try and forget that part of it!!

 

We are still in with a shout mind. Is it likely we will go down? Most definetly but if we can just scrap a draw in the week the confidence would be something else. Effectively, we gave gained four points on Norwich today (basically seven points behind them this morning before the match).

Just get to the last day within touching distance. Those two are away and while we don't have an easy game, the title could be decided before then and it is at home. Never say never mind. Then again, it would be just our luck to beat city and later lose away at Villa.

 

Where were we? We were at the stadium.

On the road from 5am in the morning, caught up in traffic due to a major traffic accident to arrive at St James' Park at 3.30pm.

And then we saw a ****e performance from a team strolling around like big time Charlies, thinking they could break Newcastle down with pedestrian passing and ****e crosses.

No complaints from me, Newcastle took their chances, we didn't. A long journey home to arrive back home at 1pm after watching 70 minutes of crap - that's where we were

Still think we are down. All of our games are winnable though to be fair. Can't see us beating Liverpool but the rest are winnable. If we get 3 wins we might have a chance. Big bloody if though. All too little too late.

City is massive now. Sadly they've hit form again but maybe this is the one where they'll protect a few. Problem is their third team would hammer us. Strange things happen though. One big win and this bunch of fairies might actually get some belief.
