Thieves have stolen a memorial plaque to a victim of the Ibrox Disaster – just three weeks after it was unveiled in a Glasgow park.

The brass plaque, which paid tribute to 16-year-old Robert Mulholland, was torn off the memorial bench in Victoria Park, Whiteinch.

Rangers’ fan Joe Burke, who led the fundraising campaign for the tribute to the Drumchapel youngster, said the thieves were “nothing short of disgusting”.

From the GET.

Not shocking in the least. There are so many complete bawbags out there this kind of pish has become commonplace.

Still, bang out of order.

Absolutely shocking.

Hopefully, the wee **** that stole it tells a pal who has more sense and gets seven shades of detritus battered oot o him.

<grr>

Wee bastards

It's the mentality of it no mine, so lets destroy it/steal it/ruin it for everycunt else...

Scumbags...

They do it safe in the knowledge that if they do get caught they can say how remourseful they really are, then they will get sent on some course where they will learn how to build a Go Kart or learn how to drive.

The law in this country is an unfunny joke.

<laugh> That's basically what the police said to me when my car was stolen <ok>

They've still not got back to me about my bike that was nicked last weekend <grr>

The gypsies were out in my area the other week. Brilliant weather about half 7 at night, a van comes up and out jump 3 mutants. They wander about until they find a washing machine in a garden. In they go, take it, stick it in the van and drive off at 5 miles an hour scouting about. I took photos of them but the police won't have anything to do with it <doh>

Because through some legal miracle gypsies seem to live in some unprosecutable world

I'm usually quite laid back about different groups of people but I ****ing hate gypos! I used to volunteer with the SSPCA and we used to take in dogs from them. Well, not from them exactly. They just tie up any unwanted dogs to the nearest tree or fence and leave the poor things to the elements.

That and they leave all their ****e behind them.

Pricks!

Just as a matter of interest why was the memorial put up just recently and why was it put in that Park.?

Really saddening that this could happen.

The venue was chosen as it is halfway between Robert's place of birth and Drumchapel, where he moved with his family when he was a youth.

This theft has not been that widely reported at all. Perhaps that is no bad thing.
