Off Topic Official DC Mafia Game

It was a toss of coin at 2v2 with no kills left...

I flipped a coin and town won.. what did you want me to do? Cheat and lie?!

Just read the Mason board and realised they did actually get a kill... I would have been raging if that had actually occurred. We got given the benefits the town would get for choosing the correct decision each night so the obvious assumption was that it was a lie, if the town were going to be given bonus stuff to try and beat us, consistency should at least have been applied in terms of us knowing what they would get if we once again didn't try and stop the correct decision being made. Some questionable calls on the host side of things upon reading the other boards... Remove Mafia power, give town extra powers, all whilst not continuing to let us know things in the same way as at the start of the game. Consistency is key.

I recognise the effort required to run a game though so thanks for the game IBWT!

 

Oh and where is my Oscar for my meltdown that moved me from top target to no votes?

That's an observation not a meltdown! It didn't actually effect the game... Just giving some advice for next time

Only moment I got slightly annoyed was when I thought ACS and chaos were Pm'ing each other due to the teamwork between them. Oh and IBWT not replying to my questions on the Mafia board when he was posting in the main thread and I had sent him a PM to check the Mafia board

 

Guess we'll never know eh

The accusing me of being less active one was me using a fake meltdown to appear innocent. And it worked. I called it on the Mafia board as I posted it

And the one above was an elaboration of a point I already jokingly made on the Mafia board... Though at the time I thought they hadn't actually been given a kill.

 

4 Hours later,.. After I'd already revealed everyone's roles and basically ended the game

your question was how do we win... If you'd read te OP you'd have got the same answer to be fair

I'd posted the question on the Mafia board before you told everyone you were going out... I pmd you to check the QT board as soon as you posted you were going out... Ergo the question had been asked before you went

 

I was reading all QT boards as the game was being played. You complained about the inactive accusations on there too LOL

 

Yep, I made a comment about it, and then used it to seem innocent... I needed to post more to look like I was involved so picked it out of all the posts I could find it in. Whilst posting fake meltdown on the Mafia board... And as soon as I did I was no longer a town target. Worked a treat.

Bodanki called my fake meltdown straight away and I thought I was busted... But everyone else went with it

Yeah, so you had a meltdown and then tried to use it. I did the same in the last game.

 

No.. I had on the Mafia board made a comment about being accused for being inactive and realised I could fake meltdown on the main thread and it'd look like I was a townie getting annoyed at being accused. And it worked. All the best lies use an element of truth. But when I posted my meltdown post it was 100% intended as a tactic to appear innocent, not an actual meltdown. The fact your convinced I had a meltdown shows how well I did it

I was worried it was too obvious.. And Bodanki noticed straight away... But others went with it. There was no actual meltdown RE the accusations, just a single comment on the Mafia board.
