It's a simple misunderstanding. The aim is to improve atmosphere. They've heard people talk of getting the KC rocking.

    They just pictured Val Doonican..

I like what Leicester have done to season ticket holders that have flogged their tickets for their last home game! That ****ing told them!

Assem - 'I hate those ****ing fans'

Ehab - 'don't worry - I've trebled the price for kids and pensioners, increased pay on the day, and closed the ticket office - they'll never bother you again'

Assem - ' make sure you promise those who do come a free rattle and an Egyptian flag if they turn up two hours early but then don't give them anything'

Ehab - 'what about making them all move seats as well'

Assem - 'perfect - and then we can keep telling them we're selling up when we're not'

Ehab - 'if that doesn't get rid of them nothing will'

I go with my brother and dad who is 69, we sit on the half way line in the east stand. Great seats that I would prefer not to leave. We either have to use our slight reduction to help subsidies my dad or move into a corner and all have cheaper tickets. We are undecided as what to do. On one hand we like our current seats but I am not totally against moving. I have been a pass holder in the east stand since it opened but have sat in all stands in various positions for cup games and other non hull city events. What I will say is there isn't a bad seat in the place so moving isn't the end of the world in my opinion. Before anyone jumps down my throat I get it that some are worse effected than me and the new membership doesn't suit them. However I can see what the club are trying to achieve.

We all want a better atmosphere on match days. More singing, more noise. Where I sit in e6 should be a great atmosphere just like Kempton at Boothferry Park but in reality it isn't good at all. There is a group that try to sing and create some noise but it very rarely spreads and gets the stand rocking. This I believe is due to the block being made up of all kinds of supporter. Many of the older supporters including my dad don't want to chant and sing and the same can be said for our younger supporters(under 14 say). That's ok, I'm not forcing people to make noise. It does dilute the people who do sing though and prevents the chants spreading and gaining momentum.

Making people move is never going to be popular but how are we ever going to get like minded supporters together without having a big shake up? The new scheme is trying to get families and the older supporters into groups and leaving other areas full of adult supporters. The incentive to get people to move is making these areas cheaper. Concessions all over the ground isn't going to initiate the shake up. Things will remain the same as they are with generally poor atmospheres.

I'm not saying I'm all for it but I get what they are trying to do. I've seen a lot of criticism on here about it so I wrote this to add a little balance. I appreciate I'm probably going to get some stick. It might not achieve better atmospheres, especially if our attendances continue to fall but things won't improve without change.

The club ****ed up because the very first version released had these prices at around £50 per month then they realised the Premier Club
members pay £85. £35 a month extra for access to the Kingston Lounge and a few extra fixtures every season ? Nah, I reckon Premier Club
members would have kicked off hence now POA

If away fans coming to the KC have no concessions you can bet that the same system will be reciprocated when we play reverse fixtures, ie
    no concessions for us.

Thing is, the name-change crap was a HUGE shot across the bow and so many sat on the fence and ignored it; some even excused and supported it. I can recall saying it was not the end, just the beginning.

Happy Tiger will be okay, he liked the name-change, he supports everything the Allams do to his fellow supporters. He will even be able to afford some aways - from the money he makes off the back of your juniors and other's grandparents. He won' t none on his own, but he is the only regular on here I have seen gloating about it.

Isn't he the dog's bollocks!? But just think about it, what else would they have imposed if the FA had of supported them? Imagine the likes of Snigger running the OSC.

Have you noticed how Snigger has gone into hiding I when we discuss his involvement on these things, but materialises on other matters.

Normally I'd just treat you with the contempt you deserve, I know you only do this and post about me for the attention, which obviously you'll say something like "oh irony there snigger", and just ignore you. For an old **** that thinks he's clever, your command of English is ****ing appalling too. Half of your dribbling above makes no sense.

However, I just wanted to say "you're a bitter and twisted sad old **** who doesn't go to games, and just trolls online, so, go **** yourself".

There, that should make you happy. Don't expect any more responses to your inane and boring bullshit anytime soon.

How do countless other clubs end up,with a better atmosphere than the KC? Nothing to do with moving people about, acoustics (some of the noisiest stadiums inEurope don't have a roof) or anything else. It is people opening their mouths and not sitting as though watching a play at the theatre.

Maybe you are right to point that out, as you have before, because you are reacting as a businessman; folk are not upset at just any membership scheme, they are upset at the tone, balance and justness of this one. This one affects them and it reflects the Allams. Don't try and defend the broader concept, that can come later, just focus on this, the Hull City AFC membership scheme, as it is what should be discussed in detail. Not picking a fight, or saying you are wrong, but sometimes it doesn't pay to try and look at the bigger picture, because the smaller one is more important and closer to home.

I don't know how other clubs do it. How would you improve the atmosphere? Do you agree that our vocal support is diluted with the less vocal?

The notion of moving e1-e2 to North Stand was on the pretence of a better atmosphere (on the back of a long forgotten fans involvement idea) & has failed miserably - I don't believe this has anything to do with 'atmosphere' even if it is 'sold' that way - time & time again it is for one thing -The Allams own ends & nothing else .

Hope you manage to get your move 'together as a three' - was bit of logistical mess when we got moved to north but did it

Away fans have to be charged on the same basis as home fans, so unless they switch to the same system as us, and it won't have any bearing on what we're charged for away tickets.

Real shame that this post is buried away on page 91. This to me epitomises why the club is going down the toilet. Just completed the HCST q/aire and final thought was 'I can't really be bothered with City anymore' all because a way of life has been taken away from me in the way CC mentions above. Death by a thousand cuts or something. 55+ years of supporting them, and my old man the same before me. Indoctrinated sons the same way.

Does the club really not read the forums?
Is there really no-one there who has got the back bone to pipe up and say 'we've got this wrong'.
Many have said that the Allams should have been lauded as heroes originally, saving the club as they did. They way they have unwound all that initial good work is quite simply mind boggling bordering on perverse. Why?

I agree the move to the north didn't work and was handled poorly. I disagree with you about the Allams though. I doubt they care where you or I sit. I think the club are trying to improve the atmosphere in the stadium. The lights and tv screen displays trying to get chants going prove this (I know they haven't worked by the way). Even the bad decision to try goal music was an attempt to improve atmosphere.

I'm obviously aware of that, I'm merely pointing out that's not a switch to a membership based scheme that's the issue, it's the basis on which this one has been formulated that's the problem.
