Just noticed your oversight in not starting your cup final thread for this season so I thought I'd help you out. For once this season your away end is likely to be full. Never mind the Pompey chimes, the bell will toll for one of us when the day is out. Which one will it be.

3 or 4 at least with your dodgy defenders, I reckon Greeny Understand Reuben Reid is injured and will miss the game - where will your goals come from
Well not from him that's for sure Wooperts. He hasn't been knocking them in this season. Jermaine Matt has been getting a few and if he plays young Harvey might just surprise a few. Nothing wrong with our defenders. Nelson plays for us so Victory must be on the cards......boom boom. Your place is certainly going to be lively.
3 wins on the bounce is just the sort of thing this Pompey team does to us poor wretched supporters. It gives us renewed hope and confidence of reaching the autos and then - BUMP! - we lose a random game 3-0, like we did against Newport. The current form would suggest a home win, but I have an uneasy feeling...........
Chins up lads !! Be positive like me - i'm positive the game will be close, but reckon we can win this one. We always have Marc McNulty & Conor Chaplin to bring off the bench if needed
Have to say I never really expected that with 10 minutes to go. This season is just crap as a supporter. One minute you are up there and buzzing and the next down and out. Then just when despair cuts in they go and put you back in the mix again. I think that is true of both of our sides this term and both up or down could still apply to both of us even now. Favourites for auto are still with Accrington, Bristol Rovers and Oxford (perm any two from three). How the hell Accrington do it with their gates is beyond me. They must have a very chilled out Chairman with fairly big pockets. Out of the play off contenders any one of them could end up going up. Not sure there are favourites there. I hate the play offs.
As that is the best Pompey can hope for, Pompey can enjoy them as they have never really been in contention for the autos since the autumn. Unlike two of Bristol Rovers, Oxford, Accrington or Plymouth, who may feel disappointed to miss out on the automatics Pomepy need six points from 5 games, and probably less.
It doesn't matter, Hampshire teams don't do play-offs. At least Cheltenham away should be a fun away day next season.
