Rashford would be great at Spurs!

Discussion in 'Manchester United' started by Hoddle is a god, Apr 14, 2016.

  1. Think about it.

United isn't going to be going anywhere for the next decade. However, we have the best manager in the Prem (Fergie's words, not mine - don't shoot the messenger).

You lads can't expect to keep a player like that. He needs to be nurtured at a club that's going places, a big club like Spurs.

    What do you lads reckon?

    Please, no wumming.

In all honesty, I think a loan move to a smaller club could be just what Rashford needs. Beckham benefitted from his season in Preston at around the same age - really took the pressure off him. Spurs will also give Rash plenty of opportunities to play after we buy Kane and Alli moves to Real.

Just make sure you develop him as well as you did Bale, Modric and Carrick and that'll be fine <ok>

Compared to not going anywhere for decades ( if Spurs fans want to talk about a top flight title , most would have to talk to their fathers ) , why would Rashford rush to a team like the Spurs at the first slight possibility of a 2nd place finish .

Rashford will be a big fish at the worlds biggest club or move to the Spuds and be a big fish at a selling club where 5th spot is a great achievement <whistle>

Yet again when the opportunity is there, they do a 'Spurs' . That is they drop the prize when it is within grasp. for a team like Spurs it comes only once in a decade or less.

He has already turned down one small club, why would he consider another.

Ahhh I thought you were telling us your liking of hot potatoes? My favourite spud is Harry Kane. I'll be cheering him on when he's in a United shirt in a couple of years

Not really surprised. A Wedge is basically a wannabe Roast Potato that's mistakenly ended up as a Chip.

The guy has scored 7 goals in 12 games and you guys still think a loan move is the best option for him? Seriously? Would Messi be where he is today if Barca rushed him off to some small club when he was performing at 18years of age? Ronaldo came to us at around that age too.

    ---------

All in all, why is this Hoddle guy allowed to open idiotic threads on our board?

  19. Wow! Unclench, dude! Lighten up a bit (well, a lot, in fact).

It isn't my fault that United is in such a mess from which it is likely to take a fair few seasons to recover from! I think there's a bit of "let's lynch the messenger!" going on, here. I'm your friend. I am not here to wum. Trust me.

    Shot conversion, Messi vs Rashford:

    Messi
    12/13 - 28%
    13/14 - 18%
    14/15 - 23%
    15/16 - 17%

    Rashford
    15/16 - 50%

    Just saying <whistle>
