    Mine would be Ron Davies as he would just love all those crosses into the box and our great wing play.

    From the same era as Big Ron Davies, how about John McGrath as a CB? They didn't come any harder than him, even Killer would have come off second best.

    Personally I think this should only concern current players, and in that case it has to be Bale.

    Walcott, Baird, Jones, Bridge, Crouch would all clearly improve us, but right now Bale is comfortably above those names. Chamberlain and Bale down the wings, with Lallana moved to a floating role more centrally, would destroy every defence in this league.

    I'd say Le God, he would love any balls into the box that get knocked out from the defence, a little jink and a right footer and it's in the top corner
