    Heres a rumour for you -This Thursday, a lot of dissapointed Not606 posters will be angry, thinking we will be taken over by a billionaire Russian, but we aren't.

    Cernyberny said the same thing about 3 weeks ago on Vital and it was just a meeting and nothing more.....it also goes against the rumour that Pirrelli are going to be unvieled as our new sponsors.....but again thats another rumour and probably not true as well.

    Think that there is more chance of Pirelli becoming sponsors than the Russians buying out Ecclestone and Mittal.

    I am sure that if Flavio can't get an Italian player past Neil and into the team, then he will get an Italian sponsor instead.

    Sitting here, waiting with baited breath (sic). Only 13 hours left until Friday arrives and Thursday is just a memory.

    I've been involved in a few takeovers myself, albeit in business rather than the world of football (the two are mutually exclusive imo): they don't always run according to a pre-defined timetable (says he hopefully).

    ...and sometimes they don't run at all. I'm sure this is all a load of hogwash, yet I'm still checking Newsnow every 30 minutes. All this hope is getting too much for me. I'll be glad when Thursday's over...

    I so want to believe Cerny and if memory serves me correct his claim was backed up by Aerospacemango but I agree I could never see how he could have picked the day that it would break. Makes me think that it is a wind-up.
