Agreed, but being realistic 5000(or 50%) of season ticket holders are not going to cancel their season tickets.

As an aside, I don't know if anybody is aware that if you print your tickets on-line, the scanners do not flag up if you have bought a concessionary ticket.

My midweek home games I attend next season will be with a child's ticket in my hand.

i'd be surprised if 4000 renewed. out of the 10000/11000 from this season, 3000 werent showing up towards the end, that leaves only another 3-4000 to decide against renewing.

i'd love it if only 1-2000 renewed.

Not a chance.... A good 70% will renew because when it comes to t money is a motivator and most will still want to see the team. Especially as you won't be whipping boys in the pub league....

You may be right on the first point, but not the second.

You are better equipped than Millwall were last year and they are there or thereabouts.

There is a bigger gulf in quality between league one and the championship than the prem and the championship.
You will be among the favourites to be promoted and bookies are right more often not.

Nobody has any idea what sort of squad we'll start with. There will be plenty of players leaving but who knows who will come in? We don't even have a head scout, and the club recently gave themselves a pat on the back because they started looking for one! Seriously. OK let's see what the bookies say in August- they were right last year about us going down, although they were wrong about Rotherham.

If we kept the current squad we would be well equipped! Half of the squad are loans and short term contracts, the other half will either be sold, not want to play league 1 football or dross like roger Johnson.

Very hard to say what will happen next season until we start to see who comes in and who goes out. I'm inclined to believe there is more chance of league 2 then championship football in 17/18 season.

Clubs with owners like ours have a problem attracting good playing and coaching staff. Hard enough in the Championship, harder still in L1.

At the end of the day most of you will decide that your live of the club is more important than your justified hatred of the regime. You will follow the club, and those who are motivated to have season tickets now will renew eventually.
    Fact of life...

I gave up my st this season because I didn't want to give Cellino £480 and it's been difficult, almost like grieving (pathetic I know). But time moves on and you start doing other stuff. Having said that am going today and to our game with you in a fortnight. If any of you are making the trip and fancy a drink we are having a not 606 meet up and you are welcome to join us. Either pm me, or pop on the meet up thread on our board, it's an away friendly pub and you would be welcome..... We do draw the line at gold anoraks though!

My uncle, two cousins, brother and myself won't be renewing. My uncle's first game since November was Birmingham, and all us four have fleetingly been going since. Another 5 ST's here that won't be renewing. (First time since 1996)
