I suspect that the Cup has become the main objective this season and we might see a couple of very strange looking teams taking the pitch.
If big changes are made the Pozzos and QSF must reckon we are already safe. They wouldn´t gamble on it otherwise. Why would they? they haven´t made (m)any changes all season to the starting 11. If not they´d surely ask the manager to only rest some players against West Ham not also WBA. Need a win or a draw here, irrespective of who plays or not. Thanks for the thread OFH.
I think he's playing this all wrong! He should make the changes against West Ham but we need confidence going into the semi final, if that's where his thoughts are, and losing at west brom with a substandard team isnt the way to go about things. This has the hallmark of Bristol City all over it, and i'm wondering if it was worth buying a flipping ticket! Not a happy Hornette...hope i'm wrong but i think he's throwing vital points out of the window. We are not safe yet!
these days it makes a change! lol Sadly no such excuse tonight, i spent most of the evening cleaning my house..such is my life! lol
I thought we'd spoken about late nights, young lady? I've been waiting up for you and in you stroll - what time do you call this?
Agree about confidence going into semi-final. With a boxing analogy, we've got to have our guard up, keep it nice and tight (like we did at the start of the season) and destroy them with our front line. I say guard up, because we can't control things as well if we just go in there scrapping, we need to be cogent, careful, still courageous, but above all, in control.
If, against West Brom and West Ham, we field two completely different teams i don't see how we can be any of those things tbh. Especially if Sean Murray or anyone else who hasn't been in the team much this year gets a game, they'll be trying to remember what a ball looks like, let alone understand how their team mates play! It's bonkers in my opinion, but then a lot of what Flores does seems bonkers to me, time was i was pleasantly surprised by the outcome, but not since Christmas, hopefully i'll be finally proved wrong again, but i have a very bad feeling about today!
Morning H, I suppose you are on the "flask of tea" bus today? Or do you go on the 1881 bus? Hopefully will see you later.
Morning lovely! Nope, driving up today, we fancied a breakfast stop so will be heading up about 9am and stopping in Northants for a delish Harvester breakfast, can't beat it! Have a good journey, hope to see you there!
we will, can't recommend it highly enough! And so cheap! lol...i'm a connoisseur of breakfast See you later, though if you're starting at 11, i'm not sure i'll be all that clear to you by the time i get there
