<monster><devil>El-Hadji Diouf's international career appears to be over after the Senegal Football Federation hit him with a five-year ban from all football-related activity in his home country
The decision, announced in a short statement on the federation's website senegalfoot.sn, came after 30-year-old Diouf reacted angrily to the federation's claims that he had failed to appear for a disciplinary hearing last week.
The committee wanted to ask Diouf about comments he had made on Radio France International, claiming that "the whole system of African football is corrupt". The federation claimed Diouf had been called to a hearing on July 20, but the Blackburn forward insisted he had heard nothing of it, and then told French magazine Stade he would "go to war" with the FSF if they took further action.
The FSF said Diouf is banned "from performing any football-related activity for a period of five years with effect from the date of notification of this decision".:afro:

I wish they would deport him from the Prem. One of my most hated players, It's a shame he was ever a Liverpool player.

To be fair He's probably right about african football though! but the credibility of the whole of the footballing world is in question with the current state of FIFA.

I think you'd beat with one arm behind your back lg.

But i'd be on hand with a baseball bat just in case he spits in your eye and temporarily blinds you.

Can't stand the bloke. He seems like an utter idiot.

I also believe that Steve Kean said he is going to leave Blackburn so we might see the back of him.

He is 31 now so international duties are over for him anyway so he is not going to be bothered is he

Corruption in football? Pth, the very idea. I'm sure African football is as clean as African politics.

No sympathy for him, though. Tough luck, twat. What goes around does, indeed, come around.
