Morning (just) all from a very damp Bandit Country - feeling a bit bruised and battered after having a couple of filling repairs at the dentist. Might need an afternoon nap to recover...so looking forward to tomorrow, it's time to get back on track.
Fish soup...chunks of tuna, salmon, smoked haddock, prawns, croutons, rouille...with Cotes de Provence Rose. That's a marriage!
Had an interview at lunchtime, although the interviewer decided to do it as a chat instead of a traditional interview, which I was more comfortable with. It's now a case of wait and see. In the interview I mentioned that one thing my current employers are trying to do is improve their image in the industry, and was informed of a name they are known as that is going to take a lot of turning around.
Have a good weekend all, going further up into the hills to explore this weekend so no footy action for me.
Morning all from a brightening Bandit Country - awake early as I am a little excited about the game today. Plus the bloody Tortoise is banging about and I had to get up and let him loose in the kitchen! Butchers, breakfast, pick up my mate then up to MK to get the beer train to Brum.
Morning all, sunshine and showers forecast for the whole day here. So far we have the latter, but no sign of the former. Strange how my 'local' team Chateauroux seem to come up with similar results to the mighty horns. Last night they had a 1-1 draw, so we will see if it happens again.
Morning al..l 95th birthday tea party today for my mum..... who had a fall in the night too..... so all a bit worrying... but fingers crossed ... So I will miss the game...
Morning all from a sunny but chilly Jersey. Sorry to hear about your Mum's fall, yorkie, but I hop she enjoys her birthday tea despite that.
Commiserations Dave I was really hoping you would win today and consign Newcastle & Sunderland to the Championship. Swansea were off message too
Morning all from a chilly Jersey - must have been very cold overnight judging by how my windows look this morning.
Morning all. Great family and friends celebration for my mum yesterday... who even managed to walk into the hotel without her wheelchair.... very special day never to be forgotten. 50 plus there from all over the UK... .from all times of her life...... Met a cousin I had never met which was very moving. Plus other WFC supporters..... so great to tell my mum we were winning and Gomes.... what a star
Afternoon all from a bright & sunny Bandit Country - just about recovered from yesterday, great day out. Sounds like a wonderful celebration Yorkie and wishing your mum many more.
If the game with Liverpool is re-arranged to the Sunday after, it will mean us playing 3 games in 6 days!
