Call me old fashioned but, regardless of how far we get in cups, the League is and will always be our bread and butter!
So, goes without saying that from now until the end of the season, we not drop the ball on the league and ensure we continue to do well in order to take some form in the remaining EL games and more importantly, into next years league campaign

****in hell, we've just come back from 3-1 down with 30 minutes to go against one of the best sides in Europe and one of our supporters is writing our hopes of winning off before the tie has started because of 1 possible injury. ****e support, that.

    not old fashioned at all.

this is what rafa did in 07. he totally ignored league in run up to CL final... we didn't turn up for 85 mins in the final. no intensity

We have to keep the levels up now. Go to bournemouth. look after those in the fashionable "red zone" but get out there and play. winning is a habit to get into not get out of

and yeah 6th would at least be saying hey we can progress form here on up. it wuold mean we kept the haples cheslea behind us and also beat out west ham, southampton and other similar sides

Europa league trophy is a dream not to be mentioned unitl the semi final is over.

Agreed, Villareal are no mugs! (then again, neither were Dortmund), but only focus on that game when that is the next game, next game is Bournemouth, I like them, they're a good ball playing team, should be a good game..
They have good players but they don't have a front 4 like Dortmund with the likes of Wiegl in midfield..
Same team that played against Stoke, good intensity and we have a chance of winning that, we've 1 to 2 games in hand on the teams ahead of us, would like to finish as high up the league as we possibly can..

Interviewer "Definitely". He must've been thinking that Sakho is too big and intimidating to disagree with <laugh>

To be fair, we got the equalizer and winner without Can on the pitch. So I guess we are better without him. <whistle>

he is a bit mad that way. he does love the warrior stuff but sometimes being a unit and keeping in line is a better ticket that being the gallant warrior.

yeah he has his faults for sure - passing lazily being one that stands out for me, i kept thinking Momo Sissoko was playing CB for us in the 1st half - winning the ball and giving it straight back to them with a sloppy ball :D

by half time i was pretty drunk, need to try and find the full match and watch it again sober lol
