What's been your most iconic, or favourite era of your life? For some, it's retirement maybe where they've been able to do what the hell they've liked. For others, maybe shuffling to the Northern Soul with their mates, getting wrecked for 4 days straight. Some of you lived through the hippy age, watching the Beatles in their prime, Elvis and other iconic stars take the music industry to another planet. Maybe when you were a kid, the freedom and stress-free live you might have had. Others maybe more inclined to say their best years were watching their kids grow up. From a purely selfish perspective, what's been your best times?
Simples for me, my military career. Had some great times and some ****e ones and left with nothing more than some excellent memories.
Twice. Can't remember much about it though. The best night was a rave at York race course, 1992 I think. The prodigy, Njoi, The Shamen, K Klass, Bizarre Inc (where my user name comes from) Carl Cox, Joey Beltram. Absolutely outstanding night...
It was a few years before my time unfortunately, I remember watching my older brother traipse in after a weekend rave though, absolutely mangled. I did see The Prodigy though and Carl Cox, a few times.
