    John Bailey got Osgood sent off, effectively ending his career with The Saints (but this was when he was at Blackburn). Bailey was much hated by Saints fans at the time and was always well verbally 'abused' to the point that he was regularly and mysteriously injured when Everton played at The Dell. Bizarrely, we then decided to boo anyone called Bailey from any club which must have confused a lot of innocent Baileys.

    This went on for quite a few years. Weird but true!

    I thought that Jordy was simply outstanding on that front last week. Astoundingly good. One corner that went slightly too far (but recoverable), the rest being perfect and a free kick that missed by four inches.
