Right, I'm all for freedom of speech and believe everyone has the right to an opinion and to be able to voice it. This board, in it's short lifespan has been excellent and provided many of us with the opportunity to discuss all things Charlton. At times threads move off their original topic...which is fine but comments remain relevant, topical and sensible; even some of the Millwall ones.
However, Acworth is getting tedious. He's not on here to contribute to making this board better - he's here to satisfy his own needs, which is sad.
If I continue to be met with his ubiquitous, pointless, attention grabbing threads every time I log on then I will think twice about using this forum.
I'm not sure if I have the right to post this or if I'm over reacting. However every time I see his name attached to a thread my heart sinks.
He's clearly not serious about being a sensible poster on here.
Am I in the minority? If so, I'll happily rescind these comments and apologise for being such a sensitive soul.

I kind of see the humour in it- probably told this story a thousand times (but you will all listen again <laugh>), in the old days players like Konch used to print his rants from teamtalk and everyone down Sparrows would have a good giggle. I can see how it frustrates people- just think its over enthusiasm. Only time he peed me off was the whole Robbie Elliot saga.

Re Millwall posts- I'm probably the guilty party there <laugh>. Love the banter!

I don't mind the Millwall ones, Super; they're often good banter and fairly humorous. I just don't like self publicists like Acworth.

    AllHell,

Sir John is not alone with his sentiments re Mr Ackworth.

I feel the thread i started last night makes my feelings on the subject very clear (all be it less constructively i must admit). An opinion that appears not to be restricted to Sir John and i judging by the poll result.

I normally enjoy this forum immensely, but his annoying, rambling and often pointless excuses for threads are of late beginning to drive me to despair...!!

Whilst I would never call for anyone to be banned, surely a man with your powers of persuasion could have a word in his ear, in an attempt to rain him in a little.

I've closed one of his threads today, the other seemed OK to me.

I'll start closing his crap threads more often until he controls himself <ok>

I was disappointed when i checked out not606 on the way to work this morning, which makes it about 10-11pm where you guys are i think.

I assumed in the back of my mind when i got home and logged in later tonight that all of acworth would be obsoleted. An absolute cavalcade of pointless, boring jibber.

I am definitely with the boys on this one, lets try and hold onto a good thing here.

At least the spelling and grammar is miles better than some l could mention who contribute on here.

Who was the main person responsible for the 'nil literacy' award on BBC 606?

A2C something or other; is he on holiday, where has he gone?

A2C is here and making mischief. There is no doubt about it.

Surely Ducker should be back from the Lebanon soon?

Can some of you guys please respond to my thread entitled 'This Season's Resolutions'? What with your tastes for banter, I thought it would be a good thread.
