origis done well, moreno has been positive, too many meaningless passes around our own box will kill us if we slip up just once, their 1st goal came from us passing around at the back and losing it. make some runs play the channels

Needed one back before HT then. Begining to regret that second half last week when we could have buried this tie. ****.

Starting with Firmino, Lallana AND Coutinho is a bit of luxury, if you ask me, but what do we do now? We're basically three at the back now, as Moreno is playing on the wing and Ford, understandably, is offering no cover whatsoever.

Ah well, I'm off to work in 20 minutes so I'll miss most of the second half. It'll either be a night of amazing triumph.... or, let's face it, they'll get four and we'll get a late consolation. Shame - they're superb going forward, but their defence is no better than ours.

 

Sturridge and Allen on and take Firminho and Lallana off. Coutinho has been crap but he can't really be taken off as he could have a goal or defense splitting pass in him. so we have some midfield
