An Englishman, Scotsman and an Irishman are trapped behind enemy lines in WW2 trying to escape from SS soldiers. They seek refuge in a farmhouse barn but there are no places to hide, only a pile of old burlap sacks in the corner.

The Englishman says "quick chaps, into those sacks and if Gerry starts to poke around use your wits!"

Soon after the German soldiers arrive and their Captain says "I know you are in here you shvinehoonts!" and orders one of the soldiers to start bayonetting the sacks. Just as the soldier gets to the first sack the Englishman shouts "Mooo!"

"Halt!" says the Captain, "Zat bag contains a cow, leave it alone!" The soldier proceeds to the next sack and the Scotsman shouts "Baaaa!"

"Halt!" says the Captain, "Zat bag contains a sheep, leave it alone!" By now the Irishman is bricking it and when the German soldier starts to poke around near his sack he shouts "Potato!"

(Footnote : When I first heard this joke I laughed so hard a small amount of wee came out.)

My mate's Uncle used to play triangle for Bob Marley & the Wailers, he used to stand at the side of the stage and ting.
