No worries for me I'll start a geriatric music combo with pops - we'll clean up on the retirement home entertainments
Pops will be sneaking off trying to get Mrs Jones playtex girdle off. You'll be left playing "we"ll meet again" all by yasell.
I knew my threads were good but I didn't realise they were "I can't leave this page" good. Thanks Vince.
What do you intend to do or be after you finish Uni, JC? Also, how many marches have you been on this week?
When I finally go into the world of work I will be a physician's associate/assistant in anaesthesia and surgery, specialising in vascular (I hope). It's a fair way in the distance yet though, I'm coming to the end of my 2 year diploma of higher education, planning to take a gap year to work abroad, then come back for another 2 years to get my master's degree. So a long way off, jut taking things a year at a time for now and accruing filthy amounts of debt (though not as much as my friends, as the first 2 years of tuition are subsidised by the NHS and I get a small bursary). I have just come back from my 4th march of the week. David Cameron's current antics are keeping me very busy indeed. Actually, Boris Johnson is in Newcastle at the weekend, I might go and throw eggs at him.
Anaesthesia... 'Cos I'm not that kinda girl Interesting, I'd have thought you'd have worked with endangered animals, and had a stall selling incense sticks on a market for a side income... that'd be the dream.
You two need to just have sex already... the tension is immense. Just decide which one is the giver and which is the taker and get the Lambrini cracked open.
We shouldnt do this one again. As the bleaters will start bleating again. Minus one. Bet fair play to the dyke who honks. She took it in good spirit.
Shot your load early, again, didn't you? Have a tug before you go in for the pork, they say, they don't mention the fact that it puts you off and you just want them to **** off out the nearest window and never call you again.
when i was a student/unemployed/underemployed i used to waste my afternoons and evenings gaming on consoles and pcs (i think i may have addiction problems). occasionally i'd do some sketching or technical drawing, maybe even some 3d environmental modelling but just to keep my mind sharp and stay up to speed with software. i learned a couple of new languages along the way but probably could have gotten better and learned more if i'd focused on that instead of just having audio tapes as background noise. you might want to look into this, JC, if you're about to travel on a gap year. In your field it would open up so many more possibilities for work too. now i'm working full time again i have to cram all this into just my evenings. no wonder i'm up late and knackered every morning.
Retirement is the greatest thing ever, I retired last year at 66 after working since I was 15 and I love the idea of going to bed at night and knowing that I haven't got to get up in the morning, I'm still up at 7 every day but it's a wonderful thought that I don't have to. Once out of bed I'm finding that there's just not enough hours in the day, and I like to keep busy. I was fortunate enough in my last 5 years at work that I made enough money to let me and my wife live comfortably for the rest of our lives, so we intend to enjoy every minute of it.
