TBH, when it went 1-2 I was hoping they would equalize so I could get another 30 mins.

Can't say I shared that opinion mate, De Gea pulled off some world class stunts to keep us in it again, the guy is the best for me.

The game I enjoyed watching the most, for my own personal satisfaction was when our kids took Arsenal apart at Old Trafford.

From a neutral point of view, well not totally neutral, but watching Leicester trounce City at the Emptyhad was a joy.

Have to say I'm with Billy on this one - England have been picking the "one's that fit" since 1996. 20 years since I can remember being excited because they'd picked the deserving not the one's that fit. If they start picking the deserving again, then maybe it'll make me believe. But if it's just "let's pick Wilshere because he's back from injury and played 3 minutes last week" then I will never give a damn.

Mourinho I still think will be at United next season from the stuff I've heard (not just from press but people who work within football too) - just an opinion mind as was theirs although most of the noise they say is coming from Jose himself so nothing new there. He's not good at building a team and bringing through talent - he seems to want to buy it at club level. Maybe the international thing will suit him as he is undoubtedly talented!

England from 98 to probably 2008 I'd say are the biggest under achievers in football history, from any team club or country.

It's no coincidence that at the same time, money started pouring into the sport in this country especially.

Massive shame, because we had incredibly talented players, but terrible managers and awful team spirit as a result.

Last time I got excited about England was when we played Portugal & Rooney got sent off because of the winker.
There was ****ing hell on in our local that afternoon & it was ****ing heaving.
That's just about the last time I actually gave a ****.

For me the clubs wanted "instant" results mainly bought rather than developed through team spirit. Leics and Bournemouth are two teams that have been together for years and have shown brilliant teamwork all season and their survival and success is down to old fashioned values. Will this last when they start thinking about kicking on, or will they be realistic enough to settle for their strata within the richest football league in the world?
