That is why we should go with sturridge. He is the top class proven striker we have. He may not be as mobile as origi but I would play him in the first half at least. Then if he flags in the second, bring Origi in (in his place or next to him depending on the situation ).

We would need to score as I cannot see us keeping Dortmund out the whole match. For Dortmund, conceding one goal won't be such a disaster so they will attack until they score.

It's a tough choice, an on form Studge will get goals, an on form Origi gives you work rate and forces the other team back.

Jurgen Klopp is facing a very hard decision. No player is bigger than Liverpool Football Club.
Certainly some player are going to be disappointed: Sturridge or any player must respect the decision
    of the manager.<party>

    game day.

This one is very tight and its great to see a genuine game at anfield again.

Utd in last round was a bit of local rivalry but this ones the real deal isn't it?

it could go either way so I'm hoping theres no ****ty mistakes made.

****ing buzzing for tonight lads, i got the day off work, ive gotta go asdas and get the beers in soon, also some food so i dont look like a alcoholic, picking up some nice smoke off a mate at 3, told the bird she cant come round for shagging before 11pm as shes not into football and i cant be answering silly question like the offside rule and why david beckham isnt playing all night. so i think im all set.

i think we will start like....

    Migs
    Clyne Lovren, Sakho Moreno
    Allen Can
    Milner Firmino Coutinho
    Origami

Allen and Can are absolutely key for us tonight, we really need Can in particular to control the tempo and use the ball intelligently, Allen is a bit more cute and a natural at that so he should do that anyway.

Origi, i have a feeling he is gonna have a great game tonight, hes been building up slowly recently and i reckon the atmosphere will really give him an extra yard tonight, no doubt he will rise to this occasion.

We need to get in their faces quickly and stamp ourselves on this game early to dull the optimism of their fans, Patiencen with the ball is key tonight.

Its strange but i have few nerves about tonight, really looking forward to it :D

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says a passionate Anfield crowd for Thursday's Europa League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund is better than an away goal.
The Reds drew 1-1 in the first leg in Germany last week.
"We've been presented with a great chance," said ex-Dortmund boss Klopp.
"We certainly won't be flying a white flag. We're aware of Dortmund's quality. They can play better but so can we."
Klopp, 48, claimed the atmosphere generated by the Liverpool fans against Manchester United in the previous round was key to their 2-0 home win.
He said: "We've had a few wonderful atmospheres in the Europa League - the best for sure was against Manchester United. This is the level we have to jump over.
"Having the crowd is a bigger advantage for us than having the away goal."

I can see a 1-1 and pens which of course we'll win. But no fingernails left by the end.

It will depend I feel on mignolet. If he plays like DeGea played yesterday we are through. If he plays his normal (not necessarily his poorer ones) game we are in trouble. He will need to pull out some worldies...

I like this type of game when we're underdog on our own ground. It brings the best out of our players .
