Hull fans singing

People in Hull have always referred to the football club as City or The Tigers. No City fan used to ask another if they were going to watch Hull. I should imagine in Leicester people ask if they are going to watch City or The Tigers as well. Nothing wrong when a national news media refers to Hull when it is a football related matter as there is only one football club in the city, same as Leeds, Leicester, Newcastle etc who are only referred to as that and don't have City, United etc tagged on.
Don't know about elsewhere away from Hull but people always ask me "How did City get on?" not "How did Hull get on?". Same with a Bradford City fan, it is City not Bradford. With a Leeds fan it is United not Leeds.

I've heard fans, old and young, refer to us as both 'Ull' and 'City'. I refer to us as City when I'm in Hull and Hull when talking to other football fans. If I mentioned City to a Man Utd fan in Lincoln they'd think I was talking about their blue Manchester rivals. There's no need to be pedantic.

I've never, ever, cared what league we're in. Ever. Yes I like us to win, yes that comes with potentially winning stuff, even promotion, but if we end up in League 2, it's fine. Not like I called myself Premier League Happy Tiger on here is? Oh, you did more or less. Let me guess, it was ironic?

I didn't care if we were called Hull Tigers, or Hull City, not quite how you're painting it. Which is obviously not a surprise, you seem to have the same attributes as you regularly accuse our owners of, without the massive success financially of course.

Fact 1: I don't care what we're called as long as the word Hull is in the name. I don't care what league we're in, Mr Premier League Tiger.

Lie 2: Also the same types who say "He's put a lot of money in so he can do what he wants."
Fact 2: Never said that either. He owns the club, he saved the club, he puts his money in sure, but just because I've mostly (note: mostly) agreed with what he's done to turn our club around, doesn't mean I think he can do whatever he wants.

Lie 3: I get all angry and ranty when my idols, the Allams are criticised
Fact 3: As I've explained, this is not true. Constructive criticism is fine. Based on facts, it's fine. Offensive slurs and innuendo is not fine.For some reason my not liking racist and nasty, wrong, slurs thrown at them, or in fact anyone else, seems to bother you. That's your problem tbh.

I do not spend half my life on here at all let alone trying to wind anyone up. The time I do spend on here is mostly in the more lighthearted posts. Sure, I will challenge your lies, and I will challenge anything else I think is wrong. The fact that bothers you and winds you up is your problem too tbh. As I said on the thread the other day before you slinked off as usual having been called out, it's laughable that you go on about people using lies and innuendo against the nice Allams. They're incredibly dishonest people and we all know that, even you. You're similarly slimy with the way you try and make out that perfectly reasonable complaints against them are lies, innuendo and now even racist.

Mr Allam thinks the shorter the name the better. Would you be happy with us being called Hull FC or just Hull as you aren't bothered what we are called as long as Hull is in the name?
