It was only a Divison 2 team. No credit to Bruce whatsoever. Any half decent manager would have beaten them 5-0.

    You may have been , I wasn't.

Too many 'supporters ' around me sat down and not cheering the team on.
Waiting to be entertained before they'd get off their arses, wouldn't happen at a proper club.

Those Turks could show us how to do it, it's all Corcoran 's fault.

    Moan.

    Repeat.

    Moan.

    Repeat.

    Moan and moan some more.

    Set of plastic ****s.

I won't be told what to do.

    Not by Corcoran.

    Not by the stewards.

    And not by you.

When you consider how poor we look at 1-0 down away from home this season, just cast your mind back to what happened when we went behind twice and won one of the all time classic FA Cup semi-finals.

I think that was the last match I genuinely enjoyed being at, (not been to many in the last year admittedly). Brilliant day out, great result. Still have a recording of the highlights I occasionally watch just to relive it!

Remember being at Turf Moore last game of season needing to win by three clear goals to achieve promotion, Appleton was the manager at the time, as it happened we won two nil with both goals scored by Brian Marwood, and at the opposite end Sheff Utd fans were also in cheering Burnley on, interesting after match ! I`ve had a loathing of the Blunts ever since.

Even though it went wrong in the end the final was one of our most enjoyable matches ever. I don't think I've ever felt elation like after Davies' goal went in.

For sheer emotion the play off final against Bristol has to take it, I cried like a baby that day together with thousands of others, strangely didn`t start enjoying it until about an hour after the match when it finally dawned on me we`d done it !

The final was probably the most unique special match I've been to, (missed 2008). I never thought I'd attend an FA Cup final in my life and it was a fantastic occasion, despite the result in the end. But for some reason the semi-final stands out more. I don't know if it was because it was my first visit to Wembley, the atmosphere, my seat behind the goal (as opposed to being high in the 3rd tier for the final) or maybe it was just the result.

Shows that Huddlestone & Meyler can both score goals. Meyler is now dropped for some reason so can't score any & can only assume Huddlestone has had his goal scoring abilities coached out of him by Bruce.
