Yep - the Council want to sell. The price and payment period are the issues that need resolving re ownership of the ground, hence the withholding to date of landlord's consent re the extension.

As for the Ospreys, not as simple as you may think. It is all wrapped up in the Stadium Management Company and related agreements.

What the hell is a matter with most of you ?
Have the club on more than one occasion made it plain enough a moron should be able to grasp it that they are looking for investors and have traveled the world looking for the right people.........Well as far as i can see they have found the right investors months ago so they have not rushed into anything lightly and are still talking that seems to be in its final stages and imo only i think that we had to get safe first before decisions could be made.
Now these yanks will have had to make an offer and say what their plans for the future and it looks like all parties are happy so who the hell are we that know nothing about whats on offer to dismiss things so readily.......Well i for one hope the deal goes through if the club is happy because we will go nowhere without proper investment just like Jenkins keep saying to us.......

 

So if we know nothing of what is on offer how can you embrace it so readily.

You are no doubt aware that a consortium of US investors, led by Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan, is interested in acquiring shares in Swansea City football club. There is more information on this in a couple of articles on our website - click to read.
The articles outline the current position as we see it, and there is, of course interest in this ongoing situation across the whole 'Jackarmy' family. We are particularly grateful for your support as a full member of the Supporters Trust and have arranged, at very short notice, a meeting at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow evening (Thursday 14 April) at 7.30. It is difficult to say at this stage if there will be any additional information available at that meeting but we felt it would be an opportunity for members of the Trust Board to bring you up to speed and address any points/questions you may have.
The short notice and location of the meeting will, we appreciate, mean it will be difficult for many of you to attend and we will aim to ensure that you are kept up to date with developments both through the Trust's website and these emails.

We've been going everywhere without investment , the sudden manner in which the sale will take place , after months of secret meetings is a worry .
The trust should lead the charge into an investigation of the current board on the build up to this sudden sale , the Dyer situation , details of the " Vorm Fiasco " and how the whole trade went down .
Your right dai , we don't know nothing ...... That's the problem .

 

So an investment into the club of Zero as far as we know. All money in goes towards buying shares. Makes a bit of a mockery of Huw saying the CLUB needs investment to progress.

Simple because the club looks to be happy and that's good enough for me as i don't know these people.....why would anyone go against the clubs decision..?

 

The club haven't made a decision yet, and some on the board have mixed feelings, you should know that, from all your pals around the Stadium.........

 

Dai - but it's not the Club, it's the Shareholders who are happy.

 

Why do you need to know, what actual business is it of anyone outside the club...you are no more than a paying guest who can chose what to do. The owners are the ones that matter not you or me and if they decide this is the best way forward then so be it.....

 

Thats all that matters in any business...
