    looks like utd will give them a good game rihgt up until they let in 3 of course.

    an interesting enough line up. Blind will be crucial and the delivery to carroll and how he pulls off towards rojo also..

    carroll will look for both full backs

    I didn't think they were allowed to show other games at the same time CL games are on... that's why last year or year before a couple of FA Cup replays got moved and I think one team had to play Saturday & Monday because they couldn't get the replay in on the Tuesday or Wednesday.

    Generally yes, I think this is a special allowance due to loads of English clubs having fixture congestion

    Man Utd had us in the EL too so it's been difficult to rearrange

    So just to keep a list of rules Man Utd have been let off by UEFA this season:
    • special treatment for traveling before a European game
    • special treatment for multiple accounts of illicit chanting
    • special treatment for playing on same day as a European game
    They've also been given a pathetically small £5,000 fine for not turning up to the Spurs game on time when most other clubs would be given a 3-0 loss. Justice in the end though.

    From Feb 2014...

    Charlton's FA Cup fifth round clash at Sheffield Wednesday has been rearranged for Monday, February 24th (7.45pm).

    The original fixture was set to be played on Saturday, February 15th, but was called off as the Hillsborough playing surface fell to the adverse weather conditions.

    All tickets purchased for the original date remain valid, as do all Valley Away coach tickets.

    The match has been scheduled for the Monday due to a Uefa directive that means FA Cup games cannot be played on the same night as Champions League ties.

    Low quality game so far... United giving away tonnes of free kicks, Hammers have had about 4 in dangerous positions so far but failed to make them count.
