Agree, the structuring means that there is always too long between significant episodes with bigger events and the ratio is skewed in favour of little by little exposition episodes. They could tell these stories much better through fewer more stacked with action episodes but as the networks order 10 episodes per season, whatever, they're forced to stretch it out and that slackens everything and the tension and excitement are lost
Some of the most iconic movies are black and white with huge dialogue Look at how Ben hur is more action and not half movies like say Maltese Falcon. These days scripts are action heavy and dialogue and acting light No disrespect to di caprio but you got chewing and buried.. that not an oscar no for me. He was twice the actor in blood diamond.
Totally agree, Hes had much better films like Blood diamond and the basketball diarys, much more oscar worthy, the revenant was pants if ya ask me, just dont get the hype at all about it.
Watching the Musketeers on Netflix....missed it on BBC when first out.. Not bad so far...good production value.
Watched 1st episode of Marcella which is a police type drama about a woman who has uncontollable fits of rage but cannot remember them. Twas ok.
I've read a few reviews for last night's episode and it's reckoned to be the best episode yet of BCS. It sets the final episode up perfectly.
11 yr old guitarist Toby Young is on the Tonight at the London Palladium on ITV tonight. This kid is amazing.
Watched BCS great stuff. Really good film on Netflix called Alpha Dog. 8.5/10 going to watch it again this weekend.
With Justin Trousersnake? decent movie that surprised me as i wasnt expecting much, his first film i think. i also like Social Network with him in it.
I read a good few reviews yesterday and all said it's the best episode of either series so far. Shakespearian plot lines
