Good news. Alex is our best defender and we're going to need our best players in the team, it seems this is the only way he'd get in the side.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if we play better without him, just like we do with Huddlestone. Needs to be Davies / Maguire if Davies is fit and take that onto next season when all these Spurs players are gone bar Livermore

I wonder which came first? Apparently cows are gentle, tolerant creatures, that don't get upset about accidental injury. Hence the cows adage, to err is human, to forgive is bovine.
Michael Dawson's Hull City season could be over please log in to view this image HULL City captain Michael Dawson could play no further part in the Championship run-in after being ruled out of action for three weeks. Dawson limped out of the 2-2 draw away to Huddersfield Town late in the first half and subsequent scans on his calf injury have revealed significant damage. The 32-year-old will miss Friday's clash with Wolves at the KCOM Stadium, as well as next week's trip to Reading and the home double-header with Leeds and Brentford. City's last away game of the season at Bolton on April 30 is also likely to come too soon but there is hope Dawson could be back for the visit of Rotherham on the final weekend ahead of a likely play-off campaign due to commence on May 13. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Mich...tory-29098107-detail/story.html#ixzz45gzvEyfU
When I was in my teens and my old man was moaning at me,and I was showing total disinterest, he often got uptight and told me to wipe that bovine expression off my face. Only fully understood what he was on about, and why it wound him up so much, when my own kids were in their teens.
No question for me Dawson is still a great player for us, so it's a blow if he's out. Oddly, if we had still been in running for automatic would have been more gutted. Hopefully he comes back at end of season, and at least now he cant pick up a more serious injury to keep him out of the play offs, if you see what I mean. Always assuming we make the play -offs. Not quite a done deal yet.
