I have no need to prove anything, I am merely presenting "FACTS" that are in the public domain, you know a lot about facts don't you? so you keep telling us............<laugh>

Then it seems totally pointless of the trust even thinking of going to these meetings, no doubt it will all be finalised before the meeting anyway. Very much like Government cabinet meetings.

I know, let`s do a bit of jiggery pokery here, a bit of how`s your father there and when it all goes belly up, we can bail out.

All the trust does is put money into the club on behalf of the fans. It has no power whatsoever and if the new owners chooses with 75% ownership can kick the trust into touch. The money will stay in the club and the shares will go to the owners.....I left the trust a few years ago because there was no point in continuing putting money into the club in the form of shares and not having a vote on anything. When you hear the quote that the fans are part owners of the club then its a myth and i was deluded that being a part meant something but at the end of the day they only wanted our money....I vowed that from that day on i would never ever put a single penny into anything to do with the club again or football in general.....and i have stuck to my word....

Conversely, how can you welcome them with open arms when you are not aware of who they are and what objectives they have?

Because somewhere along the line you have to put your trust in people. Leicester did and that's a good example, so did Bournemouth who like us nearly went into non league football a few short years ago.... You have to take a chance in our position and im well happy we have been given this chance....

Because they hold Morgan 's and others wanted monies while leaving Huw and Dineen with their jobs intact ...past that , at this point , do you really think anyone on the current board cares about the club....sorry , they are just cleaning up sh:t and selling out .Jenkins , Morgan and the rest are welcoming them with open arms , although the Ameicanos don't know it , it's better than a handshake .

Trust is earned. To give trust blindly is foolish in the extreme. Phil is putting information into the forum and it needs discussing, not dissing.

Dont be so stupid how can they earn our trust <doh> You have to listen to what they have got to say and make a judgement. I and the club like what they have to offer so why would anyone not give them the chance to prove it.....To just dismiss them not knowing what the club knows is pathetic and we are not going to get anywhere with that attitude........We wanted Investment we got investment so what is the problem if the club are happy......

So to earn their trust we have to listen to what they have to say, fair point, but what have they offered that you like and if they have said something that you like, then some have listened to what they have said and don't like it.

What exactly are they offering , all their doing is buying some shares from existing shareholders who want out , are you saying that the yanks pay 100million and are investing the funds into the Club ? The only ones to me who are happy are the ones selling to the ones buying, all other parties had no idea this was going on and were as much in the dark as the rest of us .

Agreed but had they been just buying shares, I would have no problem, but they have taken, or will take complete control of our club, that's what I don't like, so will Huw and the other remaing just be passengers like the trust?

Huw will have an "executive" position in the Club ,what ever that means , the fact that they want /need 71% controlling interest to me smacks of them having closed the door on any future discussions should controversial decisions be made .

The club is happy with what they said so there is no reason is there to rubbish them before you know the facts. Fans moan for the sake of it and that's so pathetic you could not make it up.....you dont even know why your objecting too ffs...<laugh>

Just what are you objecting to dragon because you or anyone else outside the board room wont have a clue what the deal is or what they are offering and if they like what's on offer and are happy what is the problem.......so who are we that know nothing somehow come to the conclusion we don't like it....<laugh> like i said some fans just like to be different and will object if it was the best deal in the world ...<laugh>
