I'd agree with most of this. I caught a good chunk of the game and we seemed to be picking up from where we left off at the end of last season. While we looked sound in many areas of the pitch we just weren't incisive enough going forward and still lack that striker who can be johnny-on-the-spot when the chances do arrive. The gaping hole in the middle of our attacking options even with Bothroyd on the pitch speaks volumes. What remains is to see if NW can break his career duck and actually sign a quality striker that can fill that gap. Perhaps DJC is that man.
