This is a split in the road , from investors who cared about the club to the same investors who cared about only themselves .
This event will have nothing to do with helping Swansea and looking out for her best interests , only about the best interests of the current investors .
Everything done behind the scenes for months , with people who deserve to know what's going on .....not knowing what's going on .

 

The more I read the more I understand and the more disheartened I feel ,

 

There is very little at the moment that they can rape or rip into, there is no owned stadium, the Fairwood training facilities is joint owned by the University, so it only leaves the Squad, which if they ever farted around with, would lose them the £100 Million Premier league Tv revenues.


Of course they could purchase and expand the stadium, and then recover their outlay by placing a Mortgage on it, which is probably one of the things they have in mind, of course you can raise Capital on players as well, but having said all that, there is not a lot of room for manoeuvre, as there is in the Sports setup in the states, so that will be my consolation, you cannot mess around with staying in the Premier league, it's too unforgiving, these chancer Yanks will be on a steep learning curve...........

Sorry mat i use to be a founder member of the trust and it cannot sell at any rate at all. there are thousands who own shares and i know for a fact that those shares are worthless to the fans as a profit making share to any individual. We can only give those shares to any current share holder on the board....It has never or will ever be allowed to make a profit and that was one of the stipulation of the club allowing a trust member on the board......In fact the trust don't really have any power and is not invited or privee to most of the dealings at board level......The really big decisions they can air their views but it really don't hold much clout and never have....

Get a grip ffs, We are so lucky that we have found some rich people who are willing to take over the club, There are many clubs looking for investors and cant do a deal. It's the way forward and im chuffed the club is doing something to safeguard the club and hopefully move us in the right direction. We have been looking for investors for a couple of seasons so be grateful the club has found one.....

 

Dai - the guys behind the approach have a decent football pedigree ....... as you will discover, wider than DC United ...

Yes, but the main players seem to be Handy Soetedjo, Erick Thohir, and Kaplan who has vast funds...........

 

Rubbish them? You need to do some serious research good boy, the fans of the other clubs they have been involved with in the States, do not give Levien a kind reference at all, he has also fallen out with management with most clubs he has been involved with, not to mention him getting sacked from his first legal practice, and that's just some of it...............

Dragon who cares about any other club ....What i have read is the total opposite and have done pretty well in helping clubs from going under and making them profitable....I'm looking forward what these guys have in store for us next season......the morgans and jenkins were not going to take the club forward they said so....
So we are very lucky to have some new blood saying they can.....You have to be excited and happy with the outcome that we are finaly doing something that the club has been trying to do for a few seasons......Happy days i reckon....

If reports are right and Huw and the board have been dealing with the Americanos for four months , with some board members not in the loop , then that would mean negotiations were started around the time Monk was axed , we couldn't fine a manager who would take a chance on us and things weren't looking good in general , Huw was in mass panic ...... Nothing like starting negotiations from a position of power .....God knows what has been discussed , cause we won't .

Indonesian businessmen who invest in the sectors of coal, oil and gas and real estate and various media companies. Handy is also a business partner of Thohir in Mahaka Group. Handy Soetedjo is an MBA graduate from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He was also involved in the purchase of the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA in 2011.

 

You don't know nothing what these people have planned dragon. so why rubbish them before you know whats in store.....stop being so stupid trying to prove a point when you know nothing...

Roof like i said the trust has no power and did not need to be told about the rest of the board members wanting to sell their shares as the trust is not in the position to sell the fans shares. Its lucky these new owners who will own 75% are agreeing that the trust can keep their place on the board in some small way but they have no part in decision making only opinions that at the end of the day means nothing....
