If Evans plays Wood up front again on his own then we'll lose, I knew he'd change the system, he can't help himself. Evans said, "With the two Chris Wood chances, they're bread and butter to him, he would normally put them in the net. His performance all-round, other than that, was very good". Looks to me like normal for Wood is missing the majority, maybe they have bigger and wider goals in NZ. Antenucci scores 4 goals in 5 games and gets dropped...........the mind boggles.
Who is going to turn up tonight ?.The team badly needs a leader on the field. Liam Cooper impressed me against Burnley and I got the impression that his game is developing. He just might be the lad who could Gee 'em up.
Antenucci had scored none in last three, Wood scored in his last outing. Before defeat at Burnley it was 1 in 1 for Wood 0 in 3 for Antenucci.
Wood has scored 9 goals in 2,368 minutes played - a goal every 263 minutes Antenucci has scored 9 goals in 2,396 minutes played 266 minutes Nothing in it really!! Lee Gregory has scored 22 in 3,429 minutes - a goal every 155 minutes The more glaring stat is that between them, they are not providing many assists - Wood 3 and Antenucci 4 - is very little. Are they greedy barstewards or is nobody getting into posiions for them to assist in? Gregory and Morison have 19 assists between them this season
Morsion - best forward Leeds have had in 10 years Gregory - has about as much to do with Leeds as a paddy does - fook all
Actually, our 1st Chairman/owner was a paddy and our 1st starting 11 contained 0 Scots - although they did all work for a Scottish Company. Leeds City's first manager Gilbert Gillies however, was a kilt wearer - so you could argue that Leeds are more Scottish than Millwall The 1st Leeds starting 11 all worked at a pig factory making pork scratchings which is why your 1st stand was called the Scratching shed
It's all about opinions as they say, but what is the difference between the rest of the top six and us (not counting the other clubs between us and sixth)?
please log in to view this image Subs: Peacock-Farrell, Coyle, Bellusci, Adeyemi, Phillips, Mowatt, Carayol.
T the difference between the second auto spot and us is currently 31 points. Anyone thinking the addition of two or three cheapie signings will bridge that gap are deluded in my opinion.
