I should have known better, I was off yesterday so I suggested to Mrs Dev that we go up to the big smoke and do some shopping. What was I thinking? I'd actually forgotten how long women take over clothes shopping.
Waterboarding would be more fun, never again.

What's your idea of a day in hell?

    In reality ...

Being hungover and going out for a family "do" and your driving.

A day without the arts and wildlife.

A day in the Shirley area of Southampton.

A day trip to Walton-on-the-Naze with Bill Beaumont and the guy who played Curly Watts in Corrie.

Asking for a tuna and salad cream sandwich and they only have tuna and mayonnaise. The ****s won't make that mistake again when they do up their cafe after they get rid of the smoke damage.

A day as any home national but English as I'd probably be a bitter twisted bigot with a bag of Harry Ramsdens on each shoulder.
