Will have to trawl through back issues of WD Sport - I'm sure they reported this as a done deal a good while back. There have already been some misgivings expressed on other sites by regular watchers of Granada on TV. It seems, they claim, that he has very little going for him but pace.

    Hopefully they are wrong. :)

Pace does seem to get a lot of average players a long way in football.

He may complement some of our players who have everything going for them except pace!

But I think the idea for next season is to be above average. :)

I suspect most of them will be moving on though. Reports are that this guy and Penaranda have oodles of pace - all at the blistering level.

I sometimes watch French Ligue 2 football on TV and see loads of very young players trying to earn a contract. Many of them are very, very quick, but not so good when it comes to taking the ball with them.

I hope as an "amazing project" that Success and Peñarada do better than Oulare and Berghuis. <doh>

The one signing I think will be a great addition is Doucouré. <wizard> But what do I know, they might not even all come...I know this though, if I were a Granada fan, I´d be seething at the amount of players we have got from them (over the past seasons, not all of the above are included in that)

There is going to be some movement this summer if we stay up. Second season we will need better recruits than this one if we want to improve. :emoticon-0165-muscl

Before this season we had an U18 Academy.
Now we need to have strength in depth so apart from the first team 25 man squad we are building a bridge between the U18 & U21's - You can see this issue when you look at the results of the respective teams.
    We are building foundations.

With regard to Grenada I also think that not all players will come. I actually believe that the Pozzo's may be looking to protect / maximise their assets should they sell up their interest in Granada.
