It`s all done with smoke and mirrors, like a bit of sleight of hand, what you don`t know can`t hurt you.

This is what all this shenanigan feels like. Like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed bullshit. Is it an investment or a takeover? Why weren`t the trust involved, if Morgan wants to sell his shares, why not try and get the trust involved in getting them. Berty big bollocks comes to mind.

This is becoming like a hostile takeover. I think the Trust needs to organise a mass fan protest. I don't like the sound of this.

    YANKS FCUK OFF!!!!!

For me I am with you Valley, this sounds 100% bad news for Swansea and those who saved the club all those years ago, may have just killed it as well. I just hope that something goes wrong and it doesn't go through.

The trouble with the trust getting more shares is that we have no extra funds. Money could be scraped together to buy Morgan out, but then the trust as a major steak holder without any extra money for investment would stagnate the club.

Every PL club will get 100's millions from TV, we need more than that, we need a bigger stadium.Watch Bournemouth use their investors to do the same if they continue to stay in the PL.

Now I am not saying I am totally convinced by the American investors, but we have come to the junction where I think we need to roll the dice to move on.

As London Jack has confirmed"Under the Shareholders Agreement, the sellers must first offer their shares to the Supporters Trust (under so called “pre-emption rights”)". However, the Trust does not have the funds to acquire any meaningful amount of shares from the current shareholders on the same terms being proposed by the Consortium" .We have approx. 16,000 season ticket holders and 1200 paid up Trust members there's a sort of an imbalance and a distinct lack of money for us to even consider making a meaning ful attempt at purchasing more shares .Perhaps a nice gesture from those who do sell to the yanks could be a gift of some of the shares to the Trust which is unlikely after they ignored the Trust after the last yank attempted to buy into the club.

This could happen, that the yanks ,sell off the players, trouser the TV revenue monies and the parachute money & basically run the club into the ground. and who could stop them ?

We could, be simply boycotting all home and away games, and not turning up, that would send such a message that no boardroom could ignore, how would a Swansea team look playing in an empty stadium on MOTD? Couple of games like that and they'd soon piss off...............<ok>

Can understand the worry of investors, we have seen it go t*ts up for others. The only thing I can say is that Huw (apart from some decisions on players and managers) is not a fool when it comes to money, and will always have the club at the heart of any major decisions.

Trouble is, what other option do we have realistically? I know it's a gamble, but investment is the only way forward.

Everyone that is saying 'no way, we need to carry on as we are' to this will be complaining if we don't have a bigger stadium in 12 months time. Cake and eating it.

I am not 100% convinced, don't get me wrong, it scares me. But it is time to mix up the boardroom, think we can all agree with that. Nathan Dyer especially.

Did they have to sell so much of the club, they could have retained some shares for voting rights in the future or even given some to the trust, in selling everything for me they have sold their soul and the club for a handsome profit and have absolutely no way of knowing what will now happen to the club in the future.

I agree to a point regarding Huw, but he is between a rock and a hard place at the minute, as he can do nothing regarding the Morgans sale of shares and other board members, Huw's share holding is modest, and he did bugger all when the Trust requested an increase of it's share value to 25.1% last year, when the board turned it down, it's all a bit concerning to say the least.........<ok>

AS things stand, it is a complete takeover of the club, these Yanks just don't want the Morgans shares, they want all that will give them complete control, and if you view it as if they are buying our club for £140 Million, then that is very cheap, our squad is worth more than that, I know we don't own the stadium, but Swansea City council are desperate to sell, the stadium is new, and has all the planning permission sorted for expansion. Given that we can buy and expand the stadium for £50 Million, then really the clubs true value has to be well over £200 Million, so these yanks are getting a very good deal, a Premier League footy club for around £100 Million, with no debt, great Squad, and entry into one of the most lucrative TV Sports deals on the planet, which they will exploit in the USA somewhere along the line, and Commercially we are very under developed, so there is some serious money to be made there, when you look at the potential of our club, you begin to see what a bunch of amateurs we have on our board, muppets most of them to sell out so cheap...............<ok>

My only hope is that if they are getting the club for a song...then it leaves them a bigger pot of money to invest. Might be wishful thinking I know.

It would appear for some the love of money is greater than the love of the Club

I guess you are talking about the shareholders? Morgan f*cked his love for the club when he f*cked his marriage up
