Bringing in investment money is a possible bad dream to me .
Putting that investment money and striking a deal for that money could be an absolute nightmare with our Chairman and board doing the dealing . Think of who did the , and how it turned out " Tabanou : Eder " deal and multiply it by a dozen . Let's get back to walking before we let our board start running things

 

Roof - the purchasers are acquiring the shares from the existing shareholders. So Huw, Morgan, Katzen et al will receive those funds personally.

I guess "new" money would be loans injected into the Club.

 

That'll be the only reason they are coming

 

I guess the old share holders don't love us any more .
So the the old shareholders are making deals with the new shareholders on how much money the old shareholders will get ...... Behind closed doors ?

As someone who invested in the trust right at the beginning i knew fully well the X amount i have put in i will never see again or make a profit on....the only thing the leaders of the trust can do is give away the shares to other board members, They dont have the option like the rest of the board members that they can sell any of the trust shares, they must give them away.....

 

I am thinking on the positives of this take over rather than be negative about it, It is clear to me that the board have lost interest and are not willing or unable to take the club any further. When fans say these Americans are only here to make money well what do you think the morgans and Jenkins have been doing all these years. They have all except the trust made millions each out of our success and now some wants to cash in as they know they cant take the club any further.
I think it's bloody marvellous that someone see's us as a good investment and is willing to put money into the club and who knows what they have planned and if its anything remotely like they have done with DC United then i think we will be in safe hands and a bright future to look forward too....

Not true , the trust hold 21% of the total share allocation , if the Trust wish to sell they can at the current market rate , which imo looking at what may happen could be the best option , to have a relatively large amount of money in the bank as opposed to owning potentially a portfolio of worthless or at least diluted share value (if the Club decide to issue more shares )could be better for us as it may be needed if it goes belly up with the yanks and we need a fighting fund . Difficult times ahead imo

 

Diluting of the shares is a real possibility once if and when they have total control.

The Trust are on a hiding to nothing, and as I see it is nothing more than a publicity stunt by the Morgans and the other board members, they showed their true colours when the refused the trust a 25.1% share value last year, and when you look at the last Yanks bid in Moore & Co, and now this lot, well you can see these are just spiv chancers, and when you also consider the current conduct of some of our board members, well is it ant wonder we are looking at such low life? Birds of a feather aye, not good at all, the only thing we can do is vote with our feet, if these Yankee spivs mess our club up, a shiny new stadium can be very expensive when it is empty, we have been here before, I'm sure if it turns bad, we can vote with our feet...........




PS: I was hours last night doing research on this lot, and they are no better than the last lot, I doubt we will see much money spent in the advancement of our club, seems to me we are getting rid of the Morgan muppets, for Yankee doodle dandy ones.........

 

They haven't even arrived yet and I want them gone, this can only be bad for our club and have no doubt it will be raped and ripped apart by them, If this does happen shame on those who saved and then killed our club.
