I see where you are coming from now but I didn't mean to imply it was a 'change for the worse' as I said it is a new era now and it's their world not mine and that's the way they like it. When I drank down Newland we came out of the Lambton at about 10.45 and then went to the Fish and Chip shop corner of Raglan Street for our supper.
Robertson linked to Manchester United again in several papers. 15 mill they are saying. That link doesn't seem to go away must be some truth in it? Though they will have shaw coming back next season so may just be bs.
Shaw coming back LVG leaving, maybe back up, but I think he'll be wasted at somewhere like that. I think Arsenal could use him, so could Man City, they want to have a new defensive unit there.
Last time in the PL young Robbo, when defending, was often like a rabbit caught in headlights - has he improved enough to play full-back for a top four team? Not so sure myself, interesting how the story keeps rearing it's ugly head though. Time will tell, as they say.
£15 million would be good money. Provided he is replaced properly and we get to see a slice of it as transfer funds.
After Shane Long I doubt anything would surprise me but I honestly cannot see anyone offering 15 million for Robertson nor do I believe he is worth that amount. Very good player but I don't think he is of the standard required by either Man U or Arsenal. Again, it would be far too good an offer to refuse if anyone came in for him with that amount.
I'd definitely take the £15 million for Robertson. Have Arsenal and Manure watched him recently? Hope not or they'd be halving their valuation of him. At £15 million I reckon they'd be paying about 5 million over the odds. Deal
He isn't good enough to be playing for them yet, but it doesn't really matter on our end so long as we get the cash.
They end up with 27% more after stoppages than we do on an average wage. £15 an hour doesn't equate to £15 In your pocket. It is what your net wage buys that matters. Disposable income is another term which you don't seem to grasp, either. Disposable income is what you have left after all essentials, rent, gas, electricity, insurance etc are paid. You stated about Norway's low unemployment. We have low unemployment. Theirs is 4.8% ours is 5.1%. Unless you consider 0.3 of 1% the difference between high and low unemployment. Still, we have established that someone earning £18,000 whose dad is a millionaire manages OK.
Yup. So having paid all their bills, they'd have more left over to play with than we would in this country. I don't know why you keep arguing back. There's no prize for having the last word. Which part of 'disposable income' did I not get based on the words above? What it actually means, or a gross over assumption on your part? It didn't need explaining that it's what's left over after all other outgoings, I'm a homeowner myself, I know how it works. Yes. She does ok, the reason she moved to Norway is to prove she could do it by herself, her boyfriend is Norwegian, that's why she's at uni there. Then they're going to use money saved to move to the US. That OK with you? Should I point them in your direction in case they need to know more about the country they live in from somebody who clearly knows all about It?
£15m, snap their hands off. On his day a v good player and certainly one for the future, I fear the opportunity to see £15m drop on the doormat at The KC will be too good to refuse.
IF theres any substance to it and we miss out on promotion, I think the deal has to be a fee plus the pick of players on loan for the season and/or Robbo loaned back.
Sunday teatime, good village pub, Stones Creamflow. £2.50 a pint, excellent six piece band called Frankie' s Cafe, then drunken karaoke. Washington's okay, but I think we've all got the drift about Norway.
Bollocks. You don't get linked consistently with the clubs he has and for that kind of money if he's as bad as you make out. A very good young player. By no means the finished article but considering he has just turned 22 could be a very very good player by say 24 25.
Okay. Let's see that £15M come rolling in. I never said he was bad, just not a specialist defender (how Bruce uses him ); others will be looking at his potential as a wing- back, which he has, but not at that price.
I want to do a Masters after uni. Was thinking either Denmark (Copenhagen or Aarhus) or Norway (Oslo).
