The other one by the new player rather than the seasoned Tobes?

    do you not want to

    a) look back and see if ANY possible push towards the other two options occurred.. this si the only facts we have on the board right now and will be until at least the paper.

    b) talk about which to choose. You'll note that the town got no reward tonight. If we follow the lets not talk at all it looks to be like it'll be pure pot luck.

I'm certainly interested in anyone pushing non-bar options

Also we can shift anyone strongly pro-bar towards likely innocent

But for the next choice I'll gladly take pure pot luck over mafia-influenced worse-than-pot-luck

    So?

As a vanilla all I can do is look for lies. I'm 100% right so far.

Maybe mafia players could've been suggesting the bar in the hope that it would look suspicious to force people to not vote for there?

The complications is why I prefer no speaking about options at all. Remove any chance for the mafia to use their advantage. It's obvious we can't logic our way to the right answer.

    yes

    maybe yes, early seems yes

    and yes.

    ....

It seems quite a challenge to may mafia to make an influence.

That seems like the most sensible idea. The only tiny problem is then maybe people won't be able to work out where we should be voting and people will accidentally vote for the bad place?

As said above, the options have similarities - home/hut, park/beach, bar/cafe. The only logic to apply is the cafe will be neutral, but I think we need to pick one of the others just so see what happens. Anyone else?

There's surely nothing else at all to go on, so not sure what was being referred to above about it being "complicated".

I would prefer to be influenced by mafia cause then at least you will get some tells than having nothing said about location. Difference between mito and this game is it seems pretty explicit what a good and bad place is as we can track kills and see who influenced where.

In mitos game the direction being a good bad and neutral was a hidden rule so people didnt realise going to a bad place meant death

    Questions:

    1. Why no mafia action.

    2. why not SK captain chaos action

    3. why no vigilante action (not required i suppose)

    4. who pushed park and home?

    5. who voted for tobes and how many of them....

the facts are BRB was vanilla and killed by SK Deathstroke. Tobes was cisco and killed by lynch.

I voted Tobes. Mafia probably targeted Tobes for recruitment since he outed he has a role. Either they get a powerful recruit or they learn he cannnot be recruited.

I mentioned home but didn't push.

Likewise. Don't see the point in trying to discuss options if it's going to turn into a witch hunt. Happy to discuss the locations in general but I won't be saying which one I'm picking or encouraging anyone in a particular way.

I'm at a loss after day 1's choices, we are no closer to figuring out which is good or bad. once we pick a good or bad option we might know more what logic IBWT is following...

    1. Mafia didn't kill, but could easily have recruited or hacked, right?

    2. Likely an inactive player, who isn't contributing?

    3. Probably active and saving arrow (guess?)

    4. Dunno! I mumbled on about the bar being a usual criminal hideout, but also not often a place of action in DC world, guess that was right.

    5. I didn't vote! Nobody stands out. The only one I have any question mark over is Astro for asking for any investigation to be published, but then that seems like a TOO obvious attempt to get Iris or Harvey Dent out into the open.

    1. Possible mafia action disallowed by the fact vanilla townies majority picked the pub?

    2. SK inactive or trying to pin blame on inactive people?

    3. Didn't want to take out important town role?

    4. Dunno mate

    5. Could've been a really close lynching like 2-1-1-1-1-1 etc. Someone high profile like Tobes, Gerrez etc. always more likely to get hit than a quieter poster like Danilo, Penfold etc.

Does someone going for BRB first indicate that they are familiar with him and pretty friendly with him? Because that seems to be what happens often in mafia games when people don't have a clue they go for someone they are friends with.

I quoted the conversation in post 310
    http://www.not606.com/threads/official-dc-mafia-game.326901/page-16#post-9125389

He blagged he was a vanilla but didn't know the rules. Since I am vanilla and know what the PM to vanillas said I know he couldn't have missed the rule he was asking about. Instead of accepting he messed up and I caught his bluff because I am a real vanilla he went on a #meltdown and accused me of being mafia, then left

Yes but you're acting as if outing Xisco was a good thing for town? I think that's what a lot of people are finding hard to grasp.
