Agreed, Yedlin is absolute toilet. He doesn't even look like a footballer IMO.

I'd be half tempted to chuck Matthews in. Can't be worse than those two.

Kirchhoff wouldn't be as affective, he plays between the lines and shields the center backs. Also he can only manage about 70 good minutes in a midfield 3 so alongside Mvila who I'm just going to say it, has been **** of late, he wouldn't have the legs. We need to keep the shape and play Seb.

Quick word on Mvila though, he has been one of our best players this season but he's been utterly forgettable in our recent games. I'm not having a go it's just the result of a long tough season, I think one of the reasons we've struggled to win recently is his dip in form. he's still far better than any alternatives but he's not reaching the standard he himself set earlier this year.

Think we're struggling to get him match fit.

Fair enough. Full backs have severely hampered us this season, even though PVA has weighed in with a handful of goals his defending is terrible.

We don't have a single fullback at the club who can defend at a Premier League level. It's pathetic, total lack of adequate investment.

Agreed. Debuchy was available in January, it was well documented we were interested should have just paid the money/wages.

He wanted to go back to France. France have a lot of options in that area. Euros are coming up, would you rather player for a midtable team in your own country or for a struggling team in a foreign country? Wages wise it didn't matter where he went as he'd still get the same wage he gets at Arsenal. Villa would pay his wages and he turned them down too. He was always going back to France. Shame, decent defender which our piddly budget could almost stretch to.

Don't know how anyone can bemoan the lack of full backs who know how to defend, then suggest bringing in Debuchy? Have you actually seen him play?

The France move was a last resort for him, he thought he was gonna be allowed a move to United but Wenger vetoed it apparently. He's ****ing **** anyway, I'm glad we never bought him, or loaned him, Fosu-Mensah's had 3 games under his belt and he looks twice the player.

I'm talking about his options on the table. So why didn't he sign for Villa? The deal was accepted and in place well before we even showed interest in him. About a week before the window closed(Wenger confirmed the deal was in place) and he put it off before turning them down and going to France. Clearly Villa was the last resort. Hence he chose Mid-table France over a Premier League relegation battle.

**** for your squad maybe. He's better than Yedlin and Jones put together.

I would not play Rodwell or Cattermole again this season, remember that is 32 games with Rodwell in the team now without a win, and Larsson for corners and free kicks ahead of Cattermole, we can beat Norwich because if Newcastle can score 2 against them we can and we have to win. I looked Norwich's record before they beat WBA and it was horrendous like Palace's, so how bad are we ?. It is 2 years ago when we had 6 matches left and were on 23 points, and won 5 on the trot can we do it again.

So who will you play instead? Larsson and never sub a midfielder? Jan will be back in the injury room before you know it. Catt's can't play that high up the pitch and Rodders is unless, but we still only have the players we have at our disposal. We've no choice but to use them.

Yeah, me as well mate, but I think he's fell way behind in the skills stakes. He looks like a donkey next to M'Vila and Kirchhoff and makes way too many mistakes for my liking. He made the mistake that lead to Vardey's first goal.

Granted I've not watched many games he's played in however I'd rather have anyone than De Andre Yedlin

Why can't we put Lens in as AM on Saturday. We need to score goals ffs. Seb can sub for him later in the game and run around, flapping his arms saving the energy of big Jan, but doing a better job of keeping hold of the ball than Catts and Jack
