I think part of the North-East is going to lose Premier League football. Looks like Tyne and Wear are going to be quite envious of Teesside.
According to The True Geordie having the local derby in the Championship is terrible. He didn't say why.
Yep Villa v Brum as well... Although I still think Sunderland might stay up, not sure why just have a feeling. A Norwich win at weekend will be end of that though
dare i say the north east struggles on the pitch mirror the economic outlook in that part of the world sadly.
I think Big Sam has made them seem like a decent outfit, but one in the habit of losing. He can break that in the Championship. I remember a team in League One which learnt to lose the losing habit...
I hope we send him the bill for any damage - I suspect the whole dressing room will need redecorating - and it may have impacted upon the concourse area under the Itchen Stand
Disappointing how many Newcastle players totally ignored their mascot on arrival - at least Benitez high fived her!
He was having a chat with nearly the whole team. He was not great on Saturday and his away form has been poor in general, but we witnessed firsthand how poor that team is as a collective and because of injuries he played a lot deeper than he probably would do normally on Saturday. We need a goalscoring midfielder, so would not be shocked if we made a move for him
There seemed to be a lot of hugging between the teams on Saturday and I'm not including the lovely Sammy Lee in that, the man's a hug/hand-slap machine all on his own!
