In Britain laws were passed in the 1860's known as "Married Women Property Act." More than 1300 years earlier, that right was clearly established in Islamic law
Under the islamic state (there are no current islamic countries) women had rights unseen today and rape and harrassment were virtually nil In UK 85k women are raped every year (12k men )
Which " rights unseen today " did women have? ( I note you use the past tense). Where does your assertion of " rape and harrassment were virtually nil " come from? ( past tense again).
You can quote as many examples as you like but unfortunately it's common knowledge more than a few countries in the Middle east and further have appalling examples of women being treated as second or third class citizens, often as mere chattels. Islam gave us many great things, but women's rights was not one of them.
No you are wrong. You are confusing Islam with the middle east. its like women priests, sure we have them but is it christianity?
