I'm really looking forward to the Euros, even if we're probably going to get battered. Good excuse for afternoon drinking at work
Quite frankly I would have shown more urgency, pace and aggression than that lot tonight and I am complacent, very slow and placid.....
Certainly say the likes of Kane and Ali would have had their chances enhanced without playing much tonight - as they do bring a greater attacking threat. Probably showed up the lack of real depth or quality - Milner isn't the answer now and as I say we always look a bit ropey in defence to be a serious threat (Stones keeps making mistakes which isn't good for somebody supposed to be worth 30 million!) Its a shame Deeney hasn't scored more otherwise he might have a shout (or that Welbeck and Sturridge are fit..)
So Villa are changing their manager again...typical, we are yet to play them, i was looking forward to getting those 3 points!
Same here. I wonder if the job will go to Nigel Pearson, in which case those points cease to be a gimme.
i think they'd be mad not to take him. He may be struggling on social skills but he knows the Championship and how to get out of it and i think the change would be almost immediate
i feel for him. Sounds like he was on a hide into nothing with that one. Hopefully he'll have learned from it, i feel there's a good coach there and he'll only get better.
Probably no surprise to see that the "beautiful game" has now been caught up in doping allegations. Doubt there is a sport free of drug issues. http://www.joe.co.uk/sport/a-premie...al&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Yesterday's game at the Kennel - boing, boing Borough! First clean sheet for 22 games and what a place to get it.
We like to complain about our referees, but this guy takes the cake - six red cards in the one game in the somewhat grandly titled Oceania Champions League...
Nothing wrong with the North Harbour Stadium. It was used in the last rugby World Cup. I think that game, between teams from Samoa and Fiji, was played on the training pitch out the back. The winners of the Oceania Champions League will play in the World Club Cup for the winners of the Champions Leagues of all the continents. Auckland City will win the Oceania tournament, unless team Wellington cause an upset. The ref in this game was interesting. Some of the refs in the Oceania FA are pretty bad, even for World Cup qualifiers.
I hope that this does not make the Pozzos feel inadequate. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/36021148
