So who would you have in your midfield between the above and why?
For me the time has come to put Seb in.
Like Cattermole, always gives 100%, terrier in midfield but doesn't offer much up front.
Jack has had his time for me, unfortunately just hasn't made the difference despite a couple of decent performances, just gets dizzy when the goal opens up for him.
Seb, well why not, sort of same energy levels as Catts but has the ability to get forward and score, he is fresh and would be itching to stake a claim in the team for the run in.

    Time for Larsson IMO.

Catts should not be played in the more advanced role and Jack Rodwell is a poor excuse of a footballer.

I'd even consider using Khazri/Lens in the number 10 role and leave Jan/Yann in the CDM positions.

That's what I'd do, I'd probably try Khazri there as I think he's more likely to get a decent shot from range in than Lens. I think two defensive midfielders is enough, as long as the defence works hard and stays compact we should have a good balance.

Khazri isn't bad at tracking back too so it wouldn't be all out attack by any means. A better choice for that position than Catts, Larsson or Rodwell.

Only issue with playing Lens on the wing is that his tracking of the opposition full back is pretty poor. I'd be tempted to play him behind Defoe and just let him roam free.

Time for Lens to justify that hefty price tag that we paid for him?

    I'd put Seb in too.

I'd also put Craig Gardner back in anarl, but there we go...

Exactly this. For Norwich I'd go with:

    ------------------Mannone-------------------
    Yedlin-------Kone------Kaboul------PVA
    ---------------Kirch------M'Vila-------------
    Borini--------------Lens-------------Khazri
    ---------------------Defoe--------------------

That's a good point, the last thing we need is to be hammered down the wings. Agreed then, Lens behind Defoe and Borini and Khazri playing wide.

    I'll let Sam know.

Two changes for me, Yedlin for Jones as Yedlin is awful.

I'd even be tempted to drop Mannone as his distribution and decision making is terrible.

Cheers, I've applied for the Chief Executive job as well can you put in a good word?

(P.s. can't do any worse than the previous one).

Is Borini not banned as it was his 5th yellow card yesterday? Can't remember if it is 5 or 6 yellows?

I'd hazard a guess that it's because he's been largely ineffective since his first couple of games.

I thought Khazri put in a good shift the last 2 games and he was taken off in both of them.

The only sort of creativity likely to lead to a goal from anyone yesterday was coming from Khazri and Borini.

    Maybe that's just me though.

This would be my team as I rate Lens highly and Khazri and Pva are a decent combination, I cant say that obout the other wing tbh but we dont have much in the way of alternatives unfortunately. In this formation I would also like to see Borini and Lens swop positions now and again depending on circumstances.

Seb for me. Catts is too prone to making mistakes, Rodwell is just ****ing useless so give Seb a chance.

    None!
    Pickford
    Yedlin----Kone----O'Shea---- PVA

    Lens----Kirchoff----M'Vila----Khazri

    N'Doye----Defoe

We've sat around trying to do the basics in a Technical formation which we don't have the players to implement and where nobody can pass a ****ing football. Back to basics, two up top with one being a back to goal forward, CMs to break up play with direct wide men

Set up like this and for **** sake lets try to win some games.

    Agree with this totally!

I don't know why he's not getting the chance. Maybe there's a contractual reason?

Catts tackle on Drinkwater yesterday was just ridiculous! Frustrating for me, I've been a big Catts fan in the past.

So is Jones. Both not god enough, Yedlin has one saving grace out of the two and that the pace to undo his mistakes which he's done a few times to be fair.
