I'm sure it's ok for the players, but on TV it's a bit of a joke. Not much of a game thus far. Belgium well organised and England a bit slow on the ball. Alex Greenwood is a highlight
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...glands-euro-2016-squad-we-look-at-his-chances One hat trick and they're talking about Carroll for England again. I wouldn't take him as there are better options and he'll probably be injured again soon anyway.
Aren't BT supposed to be showing some Champs League games for free (one a round on their free tv station)? Or have I made that up. I remember seeing some of the earlier games on the showcase channel, but nothing since.
I was bored enough at one point to watch parts of the 90 minutes between WHU and Arsenal [I really don't make a habit of doing that sort of thing] and Carroll was unplayable at times. He totally dominated Arsenal's two CBs and was back to the sort of standard which got him a huge transfer out of Newcastle Utd. If, IF... he maintained that sort of form, then I would possibly take him. But there's an awful lot for him to do yet. He'll get injured anyway. His frame doesn't seem to be able to handle his power.
He would also have been sent off for the first yellow card (and the second one he should have got) in tournament football. He may offer something completely different (I have seen his python like performances in the past) but his physical game would be whistled against in the euros.
Not worth someone losing their place for him. He'll be **** next week & we will have forgotten you suggested it, so don't worry.
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...ses-premier-league-and-championship-decisions Dermot Gallagher agrees and says he should have been sent off Saturday for 2 yellows.
Ibra spitting and snotting all over the Man City tunnel floor carpet. Got a nice close up on it cheers BT.
