    MANCHESTER UNITED are looking to sign Hull defender Andy Robertson.

    According to The Sun, Louis van Gaal is eager to bring Robertson to Old Trafford to solve his left-back problems.

    The Dutchman will be given an £80m warchest if he remains as manager next term, with the full-back considered a top priority.

    Hull signed the 18-year-old from Dundee United for a paltry £2.85m in July 2014.

    But after a number of stellar performances in the Premier League last season and Championship this term - is valued at £15m.

    Robertson could provide stern competition for Luke Shaw, who is still recovering from a horrific leg-break and Marcos Rojo after reports the Argentine will be axed this summer.

    The news will come as a bitter blow for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who is a known admirer of the Scottish international.

    is there a decimal point missing in that valuation?
    a very good player on his day but his distribution is terrible at times and for every good game he has , he has a lot more average ones..

    If we can sign Tymon down to a long term deal it wouldn't be a bad deal.

    Would love it if they both stayed however.

    He is one of the best wing backs at the moment & can only get better! His defending has come on leaps and bounds this season & it hasn't affected him going forward! £15 million will increase if we go up, if we don't then it's a fair price. I just hope he doesn't get wasted by a big team though!
    The whole story is pointless anyway as LVG won't be there next season!
