Now you've done it, now you've really done it! (To paraphrase Sharon Stone in Total Recall - and I would paraphrase Sharon any day of the week - in a nicely feminine way of course).
Good morning all from a cool and dry, for now, Weston-super-Mare. Rain promised for most of the day today! Have a good day!
Morning all from a wet St. Helier. I'm expecting a locksmith shortly as both youngest and I are having problems getting the key into the door to my flat, so I have to leave it on the latch every time I go out. We have no problems getting into the building, though..
Morning, Dave; morning, Barry; morning, all. Thank you for the cheery forecast, Dave. Hope things work out with the door, Barry. Stupid point, but you haven't tried liberal use of WD40 (not a postcode ) have you? Depends on prob but sorted my key in door situation.
Ditto to that - works for me. A locksmith once told me not to use WD40 but to put graphite in instead. That's all very well, but who carries powder-form graphite around with them? I did try it once - it took ten minutes of sharpening a pencil to get what I thought would be enough, then it didn't work anyway...
Morning all from a mild and bright Bandit Country, pink sky first thing this morning, but the forecast seems to say that we will miss the rain. The rabbit was going loopy in his run this morning, so I think Spring is finally really here.
In case you're suffering from Monday morning blues - some of the biggest names in football here to cheer you up...
I was beginning to wonder if it would be in! Surely one of the very best counter attacking goals Watford have ever had......
It was simply a case of needing some WD-40. If I owned my own place I would've tried it, but as I rent and the property is owned by mortgage company, I have to contact their agent about things like that and they send one of their workmen round.
Morning all from a dry and brightening West West London. Anti-bribery & correction plus ethics training have to be completed this week and the buggers have stopped us going straight to the test and trying to wing it, so I have to sit for hours watching the same PowerPoint pack and listen same corporate American accent that I have for the past gudzillion years..Oh well...
Oh I remember such times well.... One of the worst was HR and Employment training and the fact that when interviewing and and appointing in June for someone to start a lecturing job in September and they were very pregnant i could not in any way allude to anything to do with her obvious state..... Meanwhile my mum is 95 today She made it! Lunch out today and a BIG family and friends celebration on Saturday
Oop's - that should have been Anti-Bribery & Corruption! Many congrats to your Mum Yorkie, that's a great innings...
Morning all from a bright and sunny France. Think we had some heavy rain overnight, but I slept through it. Well done to your Mum Yorkie, I hope she has a lovely time.
