    Yeah they probably pulled that one out of their arses. Hamsik would be a good option though if we don't get Sneijder.

    He is a good player, but he has already said a few times that he wants to go to AC Milan, and Napoli said it would take a huge bid (more than Sneijder's proposed value) for them to consider selling.

    Just been reading the MEN.

    Fergie contradicts himself in the statement which gives me some hope.

    'There is no interest at this moment in time' then 'I've had no involvement in it since we came away'

    The fact that he has had no involvement in it since being away suggests he did prior to going away. The fact that Gill has also stayed behind makes me think a potential deal is still being worked on.

    Mind games maybe, but something is happening behind the senses etc. The one major area we need depth and fresh blood into is this position so I have no doubt SAF is playing something big behind close doors, maybe even two players with new doubts over Fletcher health.
