Setting the record as the 1st English team to do so in that comp.

 

Leicester are going to get one tough draw in the CL. They'll have next to nothing in European standings, meaning they'll go into the draw as 4th seeds and are bound to get a PSG or Barca or Bayern etc.

 

As Champions they will be a top seed

 

That's a shame. Leicester going to Barca or Real would be well worth watching, just to see what those teams make of Leicester.

 

They could meet them in the last 16

 

No they wont. New rules say champions get no 1 seeding.

They are playing no 2 seeds from say real, Atletico, dortmund etc etc. Then they are going to have to compete with no 3 seeds to get through group

They won't draw who you've said... but can still get tough draw.

 

Steady, I don't want Leicester to do that well. There's still a certain amount of 'same league rivalry' where I don't want any English club to do well.

 

They could get one of them as Madrid will be seed 2

 

Coefficients, I don't mind any English team getting to the final as long as they don't win it

 

Yeah. Anyone in top say 16 clubs in Europe outside English clubs and other champions are open for them to get.

Plenty of hairy arsed ties for them to have next year.

 

Hope Leicester do to the ****ing entitled chumps in the champions league what they've done to the entitled chumps in the Prem this season unless we're in the Champs League, in which case we'll ****ing twat em

 

Had a quick as to who is in 2nd place in some of the big leagues:
PSV or Ajax (depending on who wins)
Lyon or Monaco
Dortmund
Napoli
Sporting Lisbon
Rostov
A Madrid or R Madrid
Spurs (of course)

Aside from the two Spanish teams and Dortmund, I think Leicester would fancy themselves against the others.

 

We can't meet them or any other English side in groups so it would be interesting but we've a qf to focus on.

Leicester have cl to look forward to but need 3 more wins.

 

Its not necessarily those finishing 2nd thoigh. Both madrids will be 2nd seeds if they get through.

 

Look at uefa club coefficients instead. Those in top 16 will be the ones to pick from.

Dortmund, Atletico, real, benefica, Shalke, Porto, Napoli, zenit. Seville might be in that pot 2 next year.

Some of those won't qualify, Schalke and Seville aren't going to do it through league position and Porto are probably have to go through CL qualifying.
I already mentioned Dortmund, A and R Madrid and Napoli.

Benfica are likely to win their league, so like Leicester would get top seeding.

 

Sevilla could do it by winning the Europy again
