Depends. Every chance that Spurs will have nothing to play, but we will have something to play for. Could be the perfect time to play them. Half their side could either be rested, or looking towards the Euros.

Brilliant outcome this for us. Utd losing, and having their GD damaged.

Spurs play better football than Leicester. I prefer to see a team keep the ball with good skill and passing than run it into the corner.

It's entirely possible spacedsaint is correct, but the signs have been around for a couple of seasons, as FLT says, and it's all been about the middle clubs having enough money to get a strength in depth in their squads. The next TV money is only going to make that even more pronounced. The increased amounts of TV money don't make too much diffence to bigger, higher paying clubs because the percentage increase is much smaller for them. It means that middle clubs are much more of a threat and one or two, or more, can punch above the accepted weight. Leicester are just showing what can be done very early, so they really are an incentive to other middle sized clubs.

Or, it will just be a blip and the hierarchy will reassert itself. Nothing is guaranteed, which is good for football.

Agree totally. It is just about the pursuit of vanity glory. I would not get excited about an expensive trip to the rip-off that is Wembley. On the other hand getting a high league placing is brilliant. The FA Cup is different!!!

Good to see Manchester United losing again. You can go to your workplace office in Southampton or Winchester and really take the **** out of the glory hunting United fans that are there.

Leicester are on course for a double!! The Foxes for the PL and the Tigers for the European Cup!! Three English teams in the last 4 reflects the strength in depth of the English game and a willingness to play running rugby with the Tigers, not usually renowned for that, scoring 6 tries.

Arrogant PL club thinking, in my opinion. It's called the Football League Cup and existed around 30 years before the PL. So make it off-limits to PL clubs. That should satisfy any desire to scrap it.
