You are right Liverpool are far more suited to their regular UEFA Cup spot.

You think AW would get the Liverpool squad into the top 4?

Good question. He probably would actually. When you look at some of our squads between 2008-2012 some of those were no better than this Liverpool side. (They certainly cost a fraction of the money to build.)

The thing is with Wenger he will get the side playing well on a consistent basis. He just lacks that ability to really command the team - particularly when the pressure is on.

We had excellent squads then, we had Denilson, who was arguably better than Coutinho, we had Eboue, probably on par with Alves, and Almunia, who was at the time one of the top 5 GK's in the world, so it was a very strong squad. And Bendtner too, who all in all was a strong squad player probably on par with Dzeko.

Don't forget the mighty Squillaci or Pascal 'the defensive rock' Cygan. Nicholas Bendter always prolific.

Yeh bcos saying someone finds it difficult to tie their shoes laces means they're autistic <doh> How about just being a bit of an immature plank? Which you demonstrate time and time again.

It's amazing mate that the FIRST thing they think of when defending Wenger's cedentials is getting Top 4 <doh> It doesn't occur to them that when you are looking for a manager, you might actually want them to win something. You know, a European trophy or a league title. IF getting top 4 is all anyone wanted then why the fck create this thread. Just be happy with having Wenger then. It's mindnumbing stuff the uber-defensive mode some gooners go into when rival fans give an unbias opinion <whistle>

A lot of Gooners are like battered wives, but they still love their husband anyway <laugh>
